I believe there is nothing more dangerous to a Christian than to carry around a resentment against God. Yet I am shocked by the growing number of believers I meet who are peeved at the Lord. They may not admit as much - but deep inside, they hold some kind of grudge against him. Why? They believe he's not interested in their lives or problems! They're convinced he doesn't care - because he hasn't answered a particular prayer or acted on their behalf
I received a letter recently from a young man who's incarcerated in a southern prison. This convict was once a committed Christian - but now he says he's mad at God. He wrote: >> Read More ... >>>
A Spiritual City Arising In The Earth
Submitted by ServeTheProphets on Mon, 25/08/2008 - 05:44.
Our unity will be established before His Throne. Unity
is never because we agree on everything but because we have sought
after God, have found Him, and have lost sight of ourselves in the
glory of His Presence (Psalm 133:1).Of course, the foundations of what we believe are intact. But when we are before Him, seeing His face, we forget about trivial matters and opinions. He becomes magnified over everything else. This is where we are one in Him. It is only as we abide in His words and are caught up before Him that He is found in us and we discover His love in our hearts for one another (John 15:5-8).

The Lord has ordained your marriage in order to kill both of you!
Submitted by ServeTheServants on Mon, 25/08/2008 - 04:42.
A wise pastor once remarked: In
marriage, I have learned there are those who admit they have been
through times when they wondered if their marriage would make it, and
then there are liars.
Relationships are hard, and the closer they are, the harder they can be.
I tell everyone, that I give premarital counseling to, that the Lord has ordained their marriage in order to kill both of them! >> Read More ... >>>
Angus interviewed on Talk Radio 702
Submitted by Be a Mary on Wed, 20/08/2008 - 16:09.
Brother Angus was interviewed this morning on 702 by Redi Direko. It
was a lovely interview and he shared simply as always, how Jesus came
into his life and how his family are living for Jesus too and how God
is everything to him and them.
Redi asked him why it was only conferences
for men that he held, and always the gentleman, he spoke gently to her,
sharing how God called him to mentor the younger men - and that it was
for the women that he did this. When men are in their rightful Godly place, the lives of the family change.

Marketplace - The New Venue for Kingdom Expansion
Submitted by ServeTheServants on Mon, 28/07/2008 - 12:54.
Love is the greatest mystery in the world. There
is no other force or power in the world as great as love. Love will
cause us to give up our very lives. Only after love motivates us to die
to our self-focused life, can we know resurrection life. Just as Jesus
gave up His life for others and was resurrected to a far greater life,
we will experience a far greater life now on earth as love motivates us
to selflessly serve. The Babylonian-style world cannot comprehend the
value of the love of God. It is a mystery to the people of Babylon. The love of God will cause us to lay down our lives for our brothers. We will seek to provide for our brothers' needs. Jesus' love coming forth in us will cause us to serve one another. We become humble servants and not proud rulers. We keep His commandments to love God and love one another.
The desire to serve stemming from love is the foundation of kingdom enterprise. We serve Jesus as we serve mankind by providing for peoples' needs. >> Read More ... >>>

"Renovation Pioneers" are Ordained by God!

from
The Holy Spirit through Mary LindowThe English term "Pioneer" was originally derived from a French word meaning PICK AX. Later it was also used to communicate the idea of a foot soldier. The Germans use the term "trench digger" to get across the idea of a pioneer.
