As soccer is not part of normal church life, this is a relevant question.

There are however some other Kingdom pointers as stated below:

  • Do you think that the world cup coming to Africa is an accident?
  • Do you think the fact that all the eyes of the world will be turned to My beloved Africa, is a coincidence?
• From this testimony, it is clear that the the new airport is God ordained and it is in time for the World cup, see Durban's New Airport! Praise GOD for His will …
  

Every Christian needs to ask some of these questions:

• Are we ready to seize this opportunity, and to e.g. put a life coach in the lives of our orphans via soccer coaching. (We know how the Lord feels about fathering His orphans)
• Can we not use this opportunity and reach out to our own youth, those in the neighbourhood and even the visitors during the extra long holidays?

Ons staan aan die voorpunt nie net van ‘n nuwe jaar nie, maar ook ‘n nuwe dekade.

 Ons moet onsself, as Afrikaners, elkeen individueel en ook korporatief afvra, wat doen ons hier? Party van ons vra selfs die vraag, hoort ons hier in Afrika, ons, die Afrikaners van Afrika?

 Ons is ook voortdurend in ‘n stryd gewikkel met onsself – wat/wie is ons?  Die sekerhede van die verlede waarmee ons 40 plussers mee grootgeword het bestaan doodeenvoudig nie meer nie, en dit wat die jonger geslag by ons hoor inspireer hulle nie juis vir hulle toekoms, in of buite Afrika nie.

 Ons bou op ‘n verkeerde model en poog om steeds ons identiteit te vind in Afrikaner-Nasionalisme, en dan het ons nog  die vermetelheid om dit so ‘n Christelike geurtjie te gee, en te se ‘Christelik-Afrikaans’.   Ons poog om die sogenaamde Christelike Nasionale karakter uit te leef ook in ons skole, en ons verwar kultuur met geloof.

Jou Afrikanerskap het absoluut niks uit te make met jou Christelike geloof nie. 

So ook het die feit dat iemand Frans, Zulu, Duits of Chinees is absoluut niks uit te maak met so ‘n persoon se Christelike geloof nie.

Die HERE se:  "Jy het voor My kom staan in die uur van jou nood en drie beloftes gemaak as ek jou net red.  Ek het met jou n verbond gesluit.  Jy was altyd My volk, maar ek het met jou n verbond gesluit en jou My verbondsvolk gemaak.  Drie beloftes het jy aan My gemaak en nie een van hulle het jy nagekom nie.  En nou op die vooraand van jou vernietiging, wat gaan jy nou doen?  Wat gaan jy nou doen?"

At that point I had them right where I wanted them, and then asked, “So, what’s inside you? What are we going to see when pressure puts the squeeze on you?” The answer is the same to the lemon question; we will see whatever is in you.

I call it, “The Ministry of Marketing.”

Why we love marketing

Marketing is simply taking our message to those who need to hear it, rather than waiting for them to find us. Just as the Lord came to “seek and to save those who were lost,” so the marketer goes to seek and to “save” (solve a problem or provide pleasure) those who need our product or service. It’s called “doing business,” and it is every bit as sacred as coming to church and praying. Everything the believer does can be an act of worship, including being ourselves in the marketplace.

Every year we lose more pre-born babies to abortion than the combined death toll of crime and car accidents. Since 1 February 1997, over 900 000 babies have been killed in South Africa - by abortion - with tax payers money.

Legalised abortion is a national disgrace. The 1st of February 2010 will mark the 13th anniversary of the legalisation of abortion on demand in South Africa. For this reason, Christians who respect the Sanctity of Life will be observing 1 February as a day of prayer and repentance for the national sin of abortion. Pastors throughout the country will be preaching on the Sanctity of Human Life on Sanctity Life Sunday (31 January), and congregations in every province will be joining in prayers of repentance.

Love is so infinite, so deep, so complex and so much of it is still to be understood…..

Recently, as many of you know, my laptop was destroyed - run over by a semi. People have been curious about how it happened, but the question in my head wasn't how, but why? Why did it happen? The Lord warned me months before that there was going to be an attack against my laptop. I know, it sounds odd, but that is the truth. So, I was very careful to backup and copy everything of any importance.

However, the question "why" still harassed me for weeks after it happened and heavy sadness settled on me. I sought the Lord about it

When your quest begins whether you chose it or you were just destined for it does not matter…

Some years ago, I was pondering the Lord being "One" and yet at the same time the Triune Godhead. I don't mind telling you that it seemed beyond my comprehension as I struggled with how it is possible for the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit to be three and yet "One." Therefore I asked Him. His answer to me was quite simple, and yet filled with a wealth of revelation. He said, "The perfection of unity."

While preparing for writing a book for new parents, Zola contacted a gynecologist for some help in understanding gestation. During that session, the gynecologist showed him a series of pictures, pointed to the first one (an egg and a sperm) and said, "On the fourteenth day of the first month, the egg appears."

Sy was maar 'n skamele 6 jaar oud toe ek haar vir die eerste keer ontmoet het. Ek ry gewoonlik die 4 kilometer af strand toe elke keer as ek voel dat die wêreld vir my te klein begin word. Sy was besig om 'n sandkasteel of iets te bou, en toe sy opkyk, kyk ek in die pragtigste blou ogies, so blou soos die see self.
"Hallo", sê sy. Ek antwoord met 'n knik van die kop, nou nie juis in 'n bui om te bodder met 'n klein dogtertjie nie."Ek bou", sê sy. "Ja, so sien ek. Wat bou jy?" Ek gee nou nie juis om wat sy bou nie..... "Aag ek weet nie, ek voel maar net lus om in die sand te speel." Die idee trek my nogal aan, en ek trek my skoene uit. 'n Strandlopertjie sweef verby. "Dis 'n vreugde", sê sy. "Dis 'n wat?" “'n Vreugde.” Mamma sê dat 'n strandlopertjie vir 'n mens vreugde bring." Die strandlopertjie verdwyn oor die duin. "Koebaai vreugde", mompel ek vir myself, "Hallo pyn!" Ek draai om, om te loop. Depressie het aan my geknaag - my lewe was 'n gemors.

Intro: God asked Paul and his other 3 International prophets as a team to come to certain cities in South Africa. We attended the meeting in Durban and were delighted for this word with some reference to our Country. This helps us in SA to discern the signs of the times for us, by listening what the Lord is revealing through this team during October 2009:

While in South Africa following Rosh Hashanah, very clear revelatory insights were given concerning Zebulun and the blessing of Moses found in Deuteronomy 33:18-19 saying:

Of Zebulun he said, "Rejoice, Zebulun, in your going forth, and, Issachar, in your tents. They will call peoples to the mountain; there they will offer righteous sacrifices; for they will draw out the abundance of the seas, and the hidden treasures of the sand."

The name Zebulun means "a habitation" but the land of Zebulun was once ostracized for its darkness and apostasy. However, one visitation from the Lord Jesus and it became known as a land of illumination and a source of great Light (Matthew 4:15-16). This blessing provides a prophetic picture of many places being positioned for divine visitation. I believe this will be especially true along certain coastal areas that have received prophetic promises through the blessings of Zebulun.
