20 days .. until the start - News and Prayer pointers

Prayer

  • Just as our church leaders have met over the years (Minister’s Fraternals) and established relationships, now is the time for the church CONGREGATIONS to meet and work together to serve during this crusade.

  • It is interesting to note the specific order in which each of the churches has chosen to pray during the crusade:
    1. FULL GOSPEL Church (week prior to crusade) and UMHLANGA FAMILY Church
    2. HARVEST Church (first week of crusade)
    3. THE ROCK Church
    4. GLENRIDGE Church (CITY Transformation - Positioning)
    5. ANGELOS MISSION Church (Presence of ANGELS – EVANGELISM)
    6. CHURCH OF THE GOOD SHEPHERD
    7. LIVING WATERS Church
    8. IMMANUEL Church (God with us)
    9. FAITH REVIVAL Church - will be praying for the 40 days.

Part of the Prayer Directive for the 40 day Prayer Chain is for each church to pray “their” mandate according to the scriptures given in their name. Their names carry the anointing……

*We would be VERY excited to ‘add’ churches onto the list above – to increase the prayer cover!

  • Everyone is encouraged to join us praying on site ‘every’

Wednesday from 10.00am – 11.00am

Saturday 9am – 10am

Sunday 10am – 11am

Churches Prayer Chain Co-ordinators

We are meeting on FRIDAY 14th September 9.30am at Harvest Church, to discuss Prayer Directives.

Planting of the CROSS on crusade site – Saturday 8th from 9am

  • 30 men carried the 30 foot Cross weighing ½ a ton, and planted it with the help of a crane, on the hill overlooking the crusade site and Amaoti whilst the women of Amaoti and Durban sang – it was a very humbling experience.
  • After the Cross was “planted”, Tich brought a message and communion was shared (2 Chronicles 7.14)
  • 8th September is significant – 8 being the number for NEW BEGININGS
  • The cross will be lit up – to shine over Amaoti long after the crusade.

Networking of Churches

  • Please will the various Church Leaders return their RECRUITMENT FORMS or the final numbers/days of crusade participation in order for the necessary planning to be co-ordinated. Please fax the forms ATTENTION – Erika on (031) 562 0116 or call Erika on 082 444 6491.

CHURCH Home Cells – CHALLENGE!!!!!

  • Church of the Good Shepherd home cells have challenged all other church home cells to relocate their cell night to Amaoti.
  • Over 150 members from COGS will be ‘bussed’ to the crusade site every TUESDAY for the duration of the crusade to assist with Ushering; and Altar Call Ministry.
