25 days….until the start of the Jesus Crusade – Amaoti (30^th Sept – 28^th Oct)

Prayer

• It was wonderful to have Pastor Fang and members of the Chinese Christian Mission Church (Berea) come and join us in prayer on site on Wednesday 29^th August.
• Prayer and Fasting Chain has been established to cover a period of 40 days (prior and during crusade). We are hoping for individuals and churches to commit to praying in ‘one hour time slots’.
• Prayer directives will be distributed to all the Prayer Co-coordinators within the individual churches.
• With less than 4 weeks to the crusade, we would encourage everyone to come join us on site ‘every’ Wednesday from 10.00am – 11.00am to pray.
• Please pray for a “Site Manager” who will be employed full time to manage the site during the crusade.

Deliverance Training - 15^th September 8am – 12pm

• Pastor Gerrit Jansen Van Vuuren will be teaching on the specifics with regards to ‘deliverance’.
• This 4 hour training program will be held at Church of the Good Shepherd (Durban North).

Planting of the CROSS on crusade site – Saturday 8^th from 9am

• All are invited to join us in Prayer, Communion and Worship from 9am.
• All men with ‘clean hands and a pure heart’ are invited to join us as we plant a 30 foot steel Cross on the crusade site. It is our hope and prayer that this Cross will remain after the crusade as not only a spiritual reminder but a ‘landmark’ for all of Amaoti.

Promotion

• News Release has been completed to present to various forms of media
• Pamphlet & Street Poster designs have been approved – it is our goal to begin distribution within the next 10 days.

Discipleship Program

• A 5 day teaching program has been designed for new converts.
• These programs will run week days daily 3pm – 5pm or Saturdays from 9am.

Children’s Ministry – at Harvest Church 15^th September 9am

• A meeting will be held for all interested in being involved with Children’s Ministry which will take place during the Crusade on Saturdays and Sundays from 9am – 12pm.

Administration

• As the crusade begins all new converts will be encouraged to ‘register’ to participate in a Discipleship Program – manpower will be required to capture data.

Finances

• 28 day crusade requires extensive hiring costs (4 000 seater tent; sound & lighting etc)
