"THE COMING WAVE"

During the early hours of the morning in December, 1978, I was seeking the face of the Lord, and this is what He showed me ...There will be a wave of God's Spirit, which will not have it's origin with any man or group but in Heaven, from the very throne of God! This move will sweep simultaneously over the Church of God and God's Children, bringing them into a relationship with Himself and each other, far beyond anything previously experienced.

It will be in Holiness, a wave of God's Presence for His Presence manifests itself in Holiness Exodus 3:14.

This wave will wash over His Church, seeking out all who are looking for and awaiting His Coming and will draw them to Himself! These men and women will be drawn into an intimate relationship with Him, becoming so saturated with His presence that they will live and move in touch with Him, being conscious of His presence wherever they are, at home, at work, in the streets! They will find they are able to spend literally hours in His Presence, in prayer, in close intimacy and contact with Him, as He ravages their very innermost being with Himself, so that time becomes meaningless!

HOW WILL IT COME ABOUT? ... "I always work through the head".

Men will start to die, to their reputation, to their ministry, to their names, to their selfish ambitions, no more single names but an army! God will not by-pass His appointed authorities, and will begin to work through them. He has not thrown His Church aside. Sure, many of us have been cold and many have been wrong, but God has not by-passed His People.

Right from the top He has begun a purging, breaking process. Many will miss out, because they do not want the chaff to be burnt out of their lives! Many will be led astray as the Holy Spirit begins to search our hearts to deal with their condition, softening hardened hearts, to prepare them for His Presence and Glory, to once again move into the Temple in this case His body (Ezekiel 40)

In many will be found rebellion, while false teachers and false prophets will arise as wolves in sheep’s clothing, spying out the liberty we have in Christ and they will promise liberty but all the while, are them-selves in bondage to lusts and desires Matthew 24:22-25

A rebellious human spirit opens the way in that person for demonic activity!

An Apostasy which will occur in two ways ...

A) A move of the Spirit, which is not the final wave of His Presence but which will have an emphasis on the gifts and ministries of the Spirit! This move will draw a great number of His People away from Him! (NOTE: This was shown to me in 1978, and those who know me will attest to the fact these notes were written back then)

It would appear genuine but those leading the move would in many cases be those of a rebellious spirit.

God's Calling and Gifts have operated in their lives 'but' they have not been prepared to walk a way of separation and holiness. As the Gifts and Callings are without repentance, they still operate in these people's lives, however, their motives and intents are wrong, they are rebellious people and will draw many of God's People away by their emphasis of the gifts, Ministries, Signs and Wonders, which they will use to attract followers!

B) A turning away from God or a turning back to the world, by those who have again become choked by the cares and riches of the world!

A state of luke-warmness exists in the lives of many Christians and they neglect their spiritual growth, prayer, Bible Reading and witnessing, relying upon a once a week Sunday Meeting to get them through! Their neglect will devour them and they will eventually reject God's Way of Holiness if they do not heed the warnings and pleadings of the Holy Spirit!

In another far more subtle way, many Christians will be caught up in the snare of riches through false teachings, brought on at a time when the Church ought to prepare itself for an all out attack of Hell and God's People should be learning to endure hardships as good soldiers! These false teachers and prophets are similar to those that Jeremiah encountered in his ministry, many times turning God's People after promises of prosperity and well-being, which were from their own hearts and not from God's Heart!

LUKE-WARMNESS IN THE CHURCHES !

The condition experienced in the Loadician Church exists in many churches today. Read the account in Revelation 3. Notice that it was a message written to Christians and Christ if found knocking at the door of Christian Hearts who are so lukewarm in service that even their own Master and Saviour has no plan in their affections and lives!

Many Christians have become Gospel hardened and have an 'I know it all' attitude, saying or thinking 'Who is he talking to?' I've been in Pentecost for 40 years, while their hearts are far from God and they rebel against every plea to turn to God in repentance.

This wave of God's Spirit, may leave them untouched in their luke-warmness. In their Gospel-Hardened condition, they ill treat and reject the Spirit's Warnings and Pleadings, holding onto their traditions which make the Word of God ineffective! Spiritual priggishness and false religion which is not a practical God-Ordained Christianity, will reign in their lives as they cling to the religion of yesterday!

HARVEST TIME ... and I emphasise this ...

As a result of all this, God will send the invitation out into the highways and by-ways, for that is in actual fact what it is - an invitation to the Bride to make herself ready! Now here is the shock - the Church is the Bride, but a great number will have been caught up in the spirit of lethargy, apathy and apostasy and will not be ready for the Bridegroom when He comes!

This wave of God's Spirit will be the beginning of a separation - those who are Holy will become Holier!

Those who are filthy will become filthier! Those who are lukewarm and refuse to heed God's Warning, will be 'spewed' out of His Mouth and God will bring in the 'unchurched' in a last minute invitation. God's people, moving in the Power of His Presence, will reap a harvest accompanied by signs and wonders and miracles which must be a result of His Presence, abiding with His people i.e. The Old Testament Angel and the Pillars of Fire and the Cloud! The most remarkable feature will be, however, the marked Presence

of God in the midst of His People! Conviction will come upon those who come into their midst! Conversions will be complete and lives will be changed, resulting in Holy Living by the Converts!

DARKNESS WILL MEET LIGHT!

As the children of light begin to shine forth, snatching as it were burning brands out of the very fire, the children of darkness will be stirred to opposition!

Those who are lukewarm, will fall away and there will be no more confusion in the minds of God's People!

There will be a distinct separation! The Children of God will be persecuted even by those who were of their ranks. We will either move into the depths of His Love and Presence or fall away through the Fire!

THIS WAVE IS COMING!

The enemy is moving against the People of God even 'now' to draw them aside, sidetracking and confusing many by a move that is no move at all. Don't be swayed so easily from the Gospel which you first heard and by which you were saved, to a Gospel which though preached by an Angel of Heaven, and though containing half-truths, is no Gospel at all! Since receiving this promise of the wave of the Spirit, it has been confirmed from many sources i.e. John G. Lake 1900, Smith Wigglesworth in about 1912 "I have had three visions, only three. The first two have already come to pass but the third is yet to be fulfilled!

WHERE IS THE CHURCH NOW (2007) !

As a sequel to the Revelation of His Spirit concerning the Church, this is where I see the Church is today and never have we been this way before ...

1) In Egypt ...

Many of God's People are in Egypt! To me a type of the natural and carnal man. The redemption price has been paid the blood sprinkled and we are free, however, many have never turned their backs on the world. Many are enjoying the pleasures of sin, though for a season, refusing to be identified by faith with His People and to suffer hardship with them! Encouraged by the new truth gospel, and a generation of preachers and teachers who teach them to enjoy this world, in their blindness actually believing that this, the world which rejects Christs rule over them and is stained with HIS BLOOD is their inheritance and His Kingdom. These are Carnally minded people who equate the corruptable with the incorruptable, the temporal with the Eternal, The Riches Of Christ with the riches of this world.

2) In the Wilderness ...

Here I see the wilderness as the testing time, where we die to self experientially and grow in faith and knowing GOD as our absolute in every way. Many people, who have left but who are wandering about in the wilderness of testing. They are fleshly minded! Defeated! They have left the land of Egypt but are now in the wilderness and instead of dying to the flesh, the very purpose of their wilderness experience, they are defeated by the flesh and the experience through which God has taken them in order to bring them to that place in which they no longer trust themselves, but Him! They will die in the wilderness and why? Because they refused His way and followed their false prophets and teachers!

3) Where should the church be ... At the Edge of the Wilderness - The Jordan River ...

To me the land of Canaan is a type of the spiritual man, strong in faith, they are like Joshua and Caleb.

This is where the People of God should be. They have been through the wilderness and died to the flesh!
