How to add maps, pictures etc to this collaborative AMAOTI book

If you want to add your own maps to a Collabarative book then just register as a user first, create a Book page and choose under which book you want to add your content.

(A) If you want to create a Google map then use this link to create a Create GMap Macro and paste it into your posting.

(B)If you want to upload a picture you can use the create Image link or we lately prefer to prepare the image with the right size etc. and use the file atachments link at the bottom of the create content page to upload the image for the post. (Browse to your image on your desktop and upload it)

Then place your cursor where you want to put the image in your post. Press then the

button on the editor's toolbar

In this popup window ,copy and paste the link of your just attached and uploaded image and stay at this image window and choose the allignment (to the left) option there also input say 5 in the horisontal and vertical posion box.. submit it and bingo the image is where you want it

That is working good for us.

(C) If you want to add a comment to any post do so even if you are not registered as a user.(Yes we allow this for the time for this project)
