How create and put a Google map into your own content on this site

The present main map was created manually - via a huge printed map, but we are moving to some better internet tools.(Thanks for your prayers)
The first tool is to create a map in your own content (hopefully we want to take that data and put it later on the main map).Below we are trying to demontrate how to do it and help you to do it yourself.(without the website backuoffice team doing it all manually)
Below an Example:
PLease remember to describe what your map means: e.g.
This is how you put such a small Google map as above into your posting on this website Especially into the Organisation content type which can help show your organisations main working areas with a small map.(You can even have more than one map in one posting) We realise it is not the ideal tool but for the moment it is working and is much better than nothing especially when the website team does not have the manpower nor internet connected laptop and dataprojector to come and visit your ministry or church. Please be patient since a lot of work has already gone into this tool.
Instructions for gmap generated code
-------------------------------------------
A gmap macro can be created with the Create a macro near the bottom of each input page. Click it, draw and play with it. When satisfied with the result, then the generted code can then be copied and pasted into any place you want such a map in your content.(the Create a macro pops up a popup window where you can experiment)
Some things to remember with macro tool:
1 Change the Click type: (bottom left) options to draw the markers or any of the 3 coloured lines.
2 Default settings will be the initial settings and will be used for any
parameter not inserted into the macro.
3 you can add more than one map per page only change the top left ID for each map
4 A gmap can also be inserted into any page or template by using the macro generated text .
5 After you insert the macro into a node, you can edit it using raw values
that you get from elsewhere to create a set of points or lines on the map.
It should be noted that when editing the macro you are not limited to 3
points on the map. An unlimited number of points may be added separated by the '+' symbol. This could be used, for example, to plot a series of points that you get from a GPS.
