One of the most life changing weekends for "Mighty Men in Christ".
True warriors meet here and see how a farmer "burn" for Christ.
"Walk your talk" and "are you prepare to pay the price" are not uncommon sayings in this company.
This 2008 year we gather in the biggest tent in the world which spans more than 3 rugby fields and take 3 weeks to be errected
All for free. Is this not the example set out to mentor and demonstrate "Faith like potatoes"?
Do not miss out. Even at this late stage you can still come through even just for the Saterday.
(Like in the past these men know what it takes to get so many men together and don't come empty handed, but sow as well)

Because of "HEAVY" traffic to the registration website, it had crashed. That means at this moment no access to some of the maps etc. We were contacted for directions and we gladly try to help.
The Shalom Ministries farm is situated on the tar road between Greytown and Pietermaritzburg. There is a Big sign of Shalom Ministries about 10 Km outside Greytown towards Pietermaritzburg and the farm is then situated on your right. (You pass the airport when on the gravel road)
The easiest is to follow the queue of cars and bakkies and then the “stofstreep”

Good afternoon,
I can hardly wait for this major event!!!! When I started watching the movie "Faith like potatoes", shortly after I went back to church for the 1st time in many years at a time when things were pretty upside down in my life, I realised that except for time and place Angus Buchams life and my life were pretty similar.....I mean man was I accid with everything and every one around me, blaming everybody but myself for the position I was in!!!
Now a year or so later I am reborn again and was invited by a fellow Cristian to the camp! I am realy expecting BIG things to happen there that weekend and come back even larger and stronger than what I am at the moment!!!!

I am a new man,my faith has been restored after hearing Uncle Angus speak.What passion he has for the word.What passion he has for the men in this beautiful country of ours. My 15 year old son was with me. What a joy to to be able to share this experience with himYou do not know what it is like to worship with 59999 other men.WOW To hear them sing and praise together as one voice WOW.
Uncle Angus.a wonder revival has started in this country. No, let me go futher, we are in a revival in South Africa and it will continue to grow.

I have come from a large church in Randburg and I have been in meetings where there were 20 000 + but never before have I felt the power of God through all the Mighty Men.

HI, I read the book, "Geloof soos Aartapels" in 2004. man was I grabbed by this book, because also my life was a lot like that before I was Hi-jacked in July 2002.
They shot my eye out, but thank God I got a 2nd chance, because if I had to die that Saturday morning, my destiny was but one place - HELL! , but by the wonderful grace of our MASTER "" He gave me a another Chance"", and today I serve him with all my heart.

I saw your posting, and I believe that God has led me to the conferane for the first time for the same reason as you, do you have any informtion on it, their website is very unfreindly, plane tickets, accomodation, etc, food? I really need a bit of help on this one, anything you can spare would be good.

The registration website has just been upgraded to a new level. Have a look.
At the FAQ section most of your questions are answered FAQ-on Registration website.
The conference is for free with three meals (No breakfasts) and you just have to see that you are there and find your own accommodation. If you want to camp on the nearby farms it is R100 for the farmer. Basically it means you have to organise you own logistics, stay and own breakfasts.
To share with someone from your own town/city, go to the registration website and search on your town and see who you know, or use the info and phone anyone who is coming, via the telephone directory and hear if you can share some transport/air-tickets or just hear how they are organising themselves. (Each person do it differently)
The men are very supportive of each other and want all to share and experience what GOD is doing through Angus. (Every man is, called by God to be there!)

Ek wil baie graag gaan ek ook my seun saam neem wat op die oomblik in 'n ander land woon maar a.g.v ons omstandighede kan ek nie kamptoerusting saam neem nie is daar 'n ander manier wat ek kan gaan bly want ons altwee sal moet vlieg en dan 'n voertuig moet huur of 'n ander plan moet maak om daar uit te kom.

Program vir MMC Konferensie?
Lylene Die beste is maar om die kantoor te skakel want hulle weet die beste wat beplan word vir die program en is BAIE behulpsaam. Hul kontak besonderhede is hierbo genoem. (Laas jaar het die Here die Saterdagaand in elk geval gewysig)
Normaalweg on die vorige kampe was daar 'n Vrydagaand sessie na die aandete en die Saterdag is voldag en het aanmekaar geloop vanaf 9 vm tot 9nm. (arme Angus moet gereeld gaan draf om hom fiks te hou vir HIERDIE naweek want hy is heeltyd op diens daar voor.)
Sondag is basies gewoonlik 'n familie diens waar die families wat dit kan maak welkom is. Ek weet egter gladnie wat hierdie jaar gaan gebeur met die grootste tent in die wereld nie, en veral dat daar al meer as 35 000 gese het hulle kom.... Ons het gedink laasjaar se beloofde 23000 wat nou so kom is BAIE. Duidelik is die HERE hier besig met iets!
Bid gerus vir die manne want Angus hou dit eintlik vir die vroue. Die manne verander en kry perspektief met hierdie kampe, en die vroue en kinders pluk die vrugte, asook die groter koninkryk natuurlik.

Everyone do it different, but from our previous MMC camps I would suggest that you bring:
Clothing- informal, like jeans, sandals but comfortable like you would wear in the bush or on safari. Just remember that the nights can be chilly when you go to bed so a jersey can be packed in as well.
For the Saturday I would suggest sun screen and a beach/golf umbrella it can help, when like last year,it happens that the tent was overflowing. Normally there are enough chairs but if you are camping, it is advised to bring at least one camping chair with, for the late night braais or camp fires.
Our own group are bringing the following for the camping:
Chairs,tents and sleeping bags (even thin mattresses and pillows helps) and normal toiletries and towel for shave/wash and shower etc.(Roll toilet paper for the emergencies as well.)
On the food side it is 2 x breakfasts, snacks and something for the late nights (x2) around a camp fire/braai.
For the campfire we are bringing a small braai not to burn the grass, a grid wood, charcaol and firelighters (don't forgot the matches)
A torch, kettle,gas stove /gas lamp or 12V lamps because normally no 220V electricity in veld. (This camping on the farm, I think, is getting us used to power shedding, so be prepared.)
A container to store water and to wash your plates can help. We normally forgot the sunlight liquid for the dishes and a cloth etc to clean it properly, so do not make the same mistake.
Koffee, tea, sugar, milk and treats like rusks, fruit, biltong etc are high in demand and consumed severely, because the men had Much to talk and reflect around the fire late at nights when they share with the younger men/teenagers.
Basically it is like camping in the wild Africa but near the big tent there is enough toilets, showers and one can even buy COOLD cool-drink at breaks, so bring some money for that and books etc that is at display the weekend.
Use your car chargers for cellphones. I am not sure if even the cellphone towers will be able to handle the high cellphone activity since that is the only way to get connected with your group members to organise logistics etc. (The cell towers are designed for farmer activity so can you imagine what stress is on it - like a stadium rugby match)
As I understand there are still men registering to come just for the Saturday, and then a camping chair, umbrella, hat and sunscreen/sunblock can be life savers in emergencies.
Don't forget your main weapon the bible and maybe pen and paper for some notes.

Never before has the onslaught on men been more severe than right now. Satan is trying to make us and the world believe that we are powerless, useless and "second-best". Do not believe it. If Satan succeeds in making men believe this lie, our energy that the Lord has so richly invested in us, will be used for evil. Satan knows if he can get to the head of the family and succeed in destroying the father's role, eventually the family can crumble, and so can the community, because men are utilising their power and influence for wrongdoing or for sitting idly by and not getting involved, instead of proclaiming and spreading the Word of the Lord.
I am so excited about this conference, because it shows that men of God are still willing to stand for Him and do the Lord's work. Just be open to your Lord - if you want to laugh in the Lord, do it. If you want to cry in the Lord, do it. Just imagine what can happen if the men in this country re-commit themselves to the Lord Almighty. The Lord promises salvation, blessing and abundance if His People return to Him.

Het met ons manne-groep gepraat oppad van Glencoe en hul sê dat die pad ontsettend besig is. Rugby velde ens word reg gemaak vir parkering en hul word vervoer na die plaas met busse.

Ek is op pad Queenstown toe vir reeks dienste daar Wat n Goddelike voorreg is dit vir die mans in ons land ek weet God is besig om ons mans se lewens te verander ek sien dit elke dag Hierdie is net n groot demostrasie van Gos se almag.

Hi all. Can anyone give me more information about what is happening at the Mighty Men conference. Rumours are flying that there are queues of 40km from all directions and that many men cannot get onto the farm.
