Mighty Men arising!
Psa 24:3-6 Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah.
Exo 19:10,11 And the LORD said unto Moses, Go unto the people, and
sanctify them today and tomorrow, and let them wash their clothes,
And be ready against the third day: for the third day the LORD will come down in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai.
I only have 3 words…Intimacy, Intimacy, and Intimacy!
We cannot Fear Him, if we do not know Who this Holy God is. He came down at Mount Sinai to prove his people to give them a choice to come out Egypt, just as He called His Son out of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
Amazingly ordained by the King Himself, this weekend was the Passover weekend when the perfect Lamb was slain at the ninth hour (3pm) Saturday (14day of Nissan) according to Exodus 12, and not according to church history and traditions. The theme of this weekend was dying to live, a fitting theme for a Passover weekend, where many chose to die to self, only to be resurrected in our Messiah.
Men were Men again. We have been robbed of our identity in Yahshua (Jesus), our masculinity have been suppressed…but through His amazing grace started to restore His order that would bring healing to families, communities and nations. I have seen hardened farmers repent of their sins, softening under the loving presence of our Beloved, I have seen burdens lifted, yokes removed, and hearts restored back to Him.
We have been challenged to lay down our lives as Men, in order for His plan, the heavenly pattern for South Africa to come into fulfillment. He has become our Salvation and Hope in a time such as this.
Only from a place of intimacy with our Beloved will the fire, passion and zeal for Him be ignited…those who worship Him, must worship Him in Spirit and Truth.
This weekend His Gideon army arised! He is doing it, without man taking the Glory.

My dear brother I am so filled with
joy as I read your heart-comment above. God has joined the hearts of
His children together as I have never seen before or experienced in my
28 yr walk with God.
I am in tears every time I come onto this website as I read so many of
the heartfelt comments from the men from the MMC and the women at home
- my heart simply wants to explode with joy at what God has done in so
many lives. My husband, son, my backslidden dad of many years, and
close family all went to the MMC. My dad re-committed his life to our
precious Lord, all of them came home even more in love with Jesus than
when they left. They know exactly what God requires of them in their
lives with Him. This Love Story of God is never-ending.
So many sisters in Christ all around the world prayed before, during
and after this weekend and will continue to do so for you all. We knew
that God was going to do a mighty work in the men and He has and we
praise Him and love Him with all we have within us for what took place
and for what will still come. God has worked a miracle in the hearts
and relationships of men towards eachother and towards God. We need our
men in their rightful places - first in God, then everything will fall
into place as HE has ordained it to be. My heart is so full of joy for
so many families that have experienced this love and the healing - some
perhaps for the first time and immediately others still to come, but
mostly for God as He is Love and is Sovereign and He will have His way
in our lives and He is looking for hearts that are Him-ward.
If you are reading this and you know your heart is not Him-ward the way
you want it to be, then ask Him for that heart. He will give it to you!
"And you will seek Me and find Me when search for Me with all of your
heart" Jeremiah 29:13.
Stand up Gideon men of God and be counted. Your sisters are right with
you both in praying for you, and worshiping in Spirit and in truth with
you! AMEN!
I am the Lord, that is My name; And My glory I will not give to another Isaiah 42:8. God gets all the Glory for MMC. Brother Angus, Thank you so much for your utter obedience to the call of God.

Thanks for pointing out the weekend on GOD's calendar
Firebird I cannot agree more with you about intimacy and I think Uncle Angus even more will say amen to that.
However I want to thank you for pointing this out:
I don't think we always realise how the enemy robbed us when the early Christians negotiated with Constantine not to be persecuted any more, but in exchange to Not use Gods ordained calendar but the Roman one, and secondly settling for HUGE church buildings where the early church started compromising, by being very close if not part of the then Roman state.(Early WARM church were gathering in houses, and was independent to state)
God is still the same and He ordained a specific calendar (lunar or Jewish one) in His word, which pre-ordained dates can still be applicable today. He is a God of order and we should take much more attention to what He was, is, and are going to do on HIS pre-ordained seasons and months according to HIS calendar.
It just is amazing in our KZN province, where we just see major religions like the Hindus, Muslims and especially the Sangomas work still STRICLY according to GOD's ordained calendar..
We as Christians have to ask ourselves if we must keep ignoring it or is there not more to God's calendar in the "Spirit realm" than meets the eye in the natural realm.
But that brings us back to you initial point.. Intimacy with God to hear what HE wants to do according to HIS calendar and schedule.

Bless you Steph! I share from my heart. I attended last years MMC with 7,400 men. I knew that in June of the same year that Angus would be preaching in Kidds Beach, my home village, so I could have remained there and waited for Angus to arrive. My motivation was to worship GOD with another 5,000 men. I was blessed out of my socks because GOD's anointing was there. The world cannot understand why some 60,000 men would trek from distant shores and camp almost on top of each other with one common objective but to worship the one and only LIVING GOD.
Angus is someone special being used by GOD for a specific purpose. I don't believe that GOD wants us all to become an Angus Buchan. I do believe, however, that He wants us to become, individually with our personalized talents through the indwelling of The Holy Spirit, Mighty Men of GOD. How? Personal intimacy with God.
Some of us will not get into Heaven one day because we attended a MMC with 60,000 other men.
The "Most Challenging Scripture" for me in the Word of God comes from Matt. 22. The parable of the Wedding Feast. For me personally, God turned my life around by revealing to me that "the wedding clothes" referred to ones personal testimony. Not one of us will see His face without a "personal testimony". You cannot have intimacy with God through someone elses relationship with Him. You will never be able to "piggieback" your way into Heaven. We, including me, all need to rise up and be counted for who we are in Christ. Our confidence only comes when we are sure of who we are in Christ Jesus which comes about through our intimacy with Him.

I am so excited to read your response to the three postings. I feel like we are experiencing a 'tremoring' deep within us that God is bringing about in our lives as His children. I also feel that not all are called to be Angus Buchans, but we are called to be whatever He wants us to be whenever He needs us to be - constantly and unreservedly available to Him. The toe cannot be an ear and the ear cannot be a tongue. There is a place for all of us in His body, but not one is less or more important than the other. All are in full submission to the Head and Him alone.
My 15 yr old son and his friend, also 15, said the singing at the MMC was the most incredible thing they will never forget. My son could not believe how God broke his heart and even though he has been walking with our Lord since he was 11, said he had never cried like this before, ever. God touched something deep inside him. It is so fantastic. My husband said he experienced confirmation of something that God had shown him, my dad said that when Angus said "Good people don't go to heaven, believers do" it was like being hit with a lightning bolt between his eyes. Your revelation moment with God was about the Wedding clothes. For me, it was when I realised that I had been trying to be 'the Christian' for years, but had no 'teeth' at all. I needed to give up my life so His life could be lived through me. It left me in a weeping state sitting in a News Cafe one day. It is amazing. We are all completely individual and God knows EXACTLY what we need for us to get to the place where He needs us to be. Absolutely flat on our face before Him. Our 'moment' of revelation is not anyone elses. It is uniquely ours. This is why we so desperately need this intimacy. He wants us to have this with Him! What joy, what an awesome God!
