May the companies who provided the equipment have men turning to the Lord if they don't know Him intimately yet... May He impart His perfect will into the hearts of every one of those men through Angus and his team. I pray protection over the families of every person represented at the MMC 09. Praise Jesus, that He loves South Africa so much that He would draw so many to Him. Amen

Here, dankie dat U vir my "oproep instruksies" gestuur het om deel te wees van MMC09.Ek het U af geskeep en vergeet, U was geduldig en vir my gewag, U het my probeer voer maar ek het "toe gemaak" hierdie skaap wou nie van U eet. Hoe voorbarig kon ek wees om dit toegelaat het, daarom het ek die eerste aand gevra deur gebed en om my hand in die lug te steek v e r g e w e my. Jesus ek beloof U ek is dankbaar om nou te verstaan dat dit U spore in die sand was, ek kan net dink wat se groot las ek vir U gewees het, maar nog steed het U my vergewe. Oom Angus, mag ek ook graag die voorreg he om jou persoonlik te bedank vir jou harde werk om hierdie skaap kos te gee, want ek sal jou se ek was n moelikste skaap van skape. Oom Angus jy is nou ook op geskryf in my boekie van "swak betalers " want jy skuld my nou twee ure wat ek gemis het toe jy nie daar gewees het op die tweede aand. I am back next year!!! ,with my dad , he's turning  77 next year if God woul'd spear him, to experience what I have experienced.  It,s  difficult to explain to someone that was not there the Work of God.

First the shooting star in the night sky when uncle Angus said this wasn't his doing but God's doing.

Then when we (200 000+) made the Valley below answered back with a AMEN!

And thirdly the power of pray when we heard that our uncle fell in illness. (Again 200 000+)

My prayer was short:

God please, U brought to this country our shepperd, U can't let him, leave his flock of sheep alone now. Please his work is not done. AMEN!!!

Hoe se n Pa dankie???......deur die mistigheid van my trane probeer ek uitmaak wat ek hier skryf, vandag is ek n trotse..nee..n bevoorregte Pa om sulke seuns te he, my oudste het my aan MMC voorgestel die dag toe ek hom vra of ons kan kom kuier, hulle woon so 700km van ons af. "Jammer dad" se hy ek gaan MMC toe, hoekom kom pa en kleinboet nie saam....dankie seun vir die onvergeetlike tyd saam met julle...Dankie GOD vir sulke wonderlike kinders. Jy my seun het my weer by Jesus se voete laat kniel.

Angus Sondag oggend toe jy weer met ons praat het die mis verdwyn en die son helder skyn het n gedagte by my opgekom so asof iemand met my praat hier in my hart en die stem se..."Dit is my seun in wie ek n welbehae het" Dankie Angus vir alles

There seems a false SMS rumour that Angus is admitted in Durban Hospital (Entambeni). After some phone calls it seems not be true! Please pray that the truth will prevail and only Gods will be done, especially the negative words over Angus

WAT 'n amazing naweek, ons grote God het die naweek duidsende mans aangeraak en hulle lewens verander.

Prys die Here, dank Hom vir sy groot genade wat hy so maklik vir ons gee.
Ek was gelukkig genoeg om saam met my seun, my broer, swaer en ander goeie vriende die naweek by oom Angus te kamp, te kuier, en die Here te loof soos nog nooit te vore nie.
Dankie aan almal wat so hard gewerk het om MMC09 moontlik te maak, as die Here ons spaar is ons weer daar volgende jaar.

HOW GREAT IS OUR GOD!!!
That is my constant reminder after my first (MMC09) attendance this weekend.
It was awesome. I had the privilege to attend the conference with my son and grandson.

As I looked around me I just started weeping. I praise God for his greatness. To have attended such an awesome, blessed, inspiring and learning conference was a life changing experience for me.
To crown it all I had my son and grandson with me.

God is great. In todays life when parents have endless problems with their children. I thank God that as a family we could attend to worship Him and glorify Him. I love my son and his family. He is my only child and today I am at peace that I know should God take any of us home. One will wait for the other. My son's comment to me on our return journey was " Dankie Paps vir 'n ondervinding van a leeftyd". Oom Angus, you are a blessing.
Do not take note of the critics. That is all that they are. CRITICS. God has called you in a MIGHTY way and you will see the fruits of your labour. My family and I are one proof that OUR GOD REIGNS.
We traveled far. From Gauteng to Umhlanga, but we made it for every service. We are praying for you and you family. I wish we could have A MMC every week end.

Today, us as men need to listen to Gods voice. We have to regain the status as men,
fathers and take the reigns in our homes. In society and our country.

Thank you for a eye opening, spirit uplifting, Holy Spirit filled and learning week end.
Please continue this work as we need more men in the ministry as yourself. We need more exemplary families as yours. God richly bless all you do.
Looking forward to the next MMC10.

THE NEW RAIN

You Mighty Men of Promise all standing on the Word
The devil tried to take Angus's life ain't that just absurd

That rain on Monday was to try to get Angus to play that mind game
But the devil was quickly reminded that Jesus is always the same

It rain so hard on Monday that it looked like it would never stop
On Tuesday amazingly not another drop

Hardly anyone on the farm and the temp was 5 degrees
Looked like the toothless one was putting on the squeeze

The man of God said the weekend would be free from rain
Suprise, suprise, suprise devil Oom Angus was right again

Devil you tried your best to stop this move of God
Attacking Angus the way you did you stupid silly clod

Just to prove how dumb you are it stayed rain free every day
Until after Sundays meeting as Angus prophesied that the rain was on its way

And just as true as God is to His word
It came down in buckets after the meeting on Sunday or have you not yet heard

A cleansing washing refreshing like a type of new rain
Mighty Men Of Promise we will never be the same again

Oom Angus, I was a skeptical when I got to your farm on Thursday.

I thought that this weekend was going to be a weekend of camping with my brother and a bit of talking from you. Was I wrong?
People may asked if I had my head in the sand, well I did... I was doubting the power of God, and you made me believe.
I was prepared on Saturday morning to phone my wife to come and fetch me, this clapping, singing nonsense was not for me. I thought everybody was mad!!! But it was I that was mad.
I gave my life to Christ on Sunday morning at your last service. It was the first day of my life. My brother who I was not close to, then said to me that he loved me ( First time in my 35 years of life).
I went home and said what you said about loving my wife. I said that I loved my kids.
It is the first time in my son's life that I have sat and read the Bible with him.
My life has changed!!! Without your powerful message, I would not have changed. My family and I thank you.
THE REVIVAL HAS BEGUN!!!

It does not matter what the papers write about Oom Angus.
He is doing a great Job in this country and my prayers is going towards oom Angus, and please send him a get well soon after what happened.
And just to let you know I am already a changed man after this weekend.

I would just like to let the world know that God is good!!!!!  All the time.
This MMC2009 has changed my life forever. I wept like never before under the unction of the Holy Spirit and have returned home a brand new man (also baptised in a dam on Angus's farm on Sunday)

I heard about MMC 08 over the radio, (RSG) and liked what I heard, so I contacted all my boys, and there are five of them! They had a years notice to prepare for 2009. We didn't all make it! One really couldn't leave the school (Abbotsford Christian School) because he's the principal there. The other could't afford to come down from Malawi (He runs a Bible School there) but the rest made it. Put up our tents and drank coffee, and attended each service.
We spent the time between services drinking more coffee and discussing what we'd received.
My conclusion was, I already had everything that Angus offered, in my head. But, like a box of jigsaw puzzle pieces. He showed me how to form the picture by putting the pieces correctly together.
 
In my work situation, I have attended conferences at between R550 - R950 per day. I have camped out at between R90-00 to R250 per day. I have absolutely NO COMPLAINTS about the price of the camping, nor the conference! It was a bargain. I'm not only the winner in the situation, I'm now a MIGHTY MAN of PROMISE!

I have never encountered such an amazing event as this and you could really feel that Angus loves us all with the love that a father shows for his children. He delivers the gospel in such a simple way that anyone could understand how to live it. I have certainly undergone a transformation, one in which i feel very different. Thank you very much Angus for putting on the event. David..

ALWAYS SAY A PRAYER

I have never in my life felt the presence off GOD so close as in those couple of days on oom Angus's farm. Praise to GOD. I sit here with tears in my eyes.
I firmly believe we have a revival of GODLY proportion on our hands.
Thank you GOD for using oom Angus as your Shepard.

My comment is that everybody wasn't there. Some of the men who really needed to be there, because they have real problems couldn't afford to pay their way to get there. I am getting the impression that this is again turning into something where only the rich can go to, and the poor must stay home. Hope I am wrong!

200 000 men camping (Estimates say more where there according to ticket sales)

50 000 + tents               72 chopper landings                               27 000+ cars                 8000+ motorbikes

800+ buses                   80 000 gas braaiers

200 000 men busy for 12 hours a day for an average of 3 days = 7200 million hours with no lost work day case.

 Activities and conditions:

 50 000 tents pitched and taken down.

 On average each man walked more that 12 km during the 3 days over tents, rough farm lands etc.

 Gas braaiers were ignited over 600 000 times

 No traffic accidents and flow of cars was one car coming in every 5 seconds on small farm roads.

 Living space and working space was limited to 2 square meters per person.

 Housekeeping all rubbish was placed neatly in black bags next to roads.

 Temperature changes from 30 degrees to 4 degrees in the morning.

 General dust on roads turned white cars brown no complaints of lung problems.

 65 hot food vendors no reports of food poisoning.

 Open vendor tents selling Gospel products not one single complaint of theft with some tents having over 80 to 100 people in at once.

 Except for Angus exhaustion and 1 individual who passed away on his way to MMC in a motorbike accident no incidents of safety note where reported to the operational centres.

FORGOT TO TELL YOU ABOUT THE LAGER OF ANGELS AROUND THE CAMP AND THE TRANQUILITY.

God is so goed. dankie vir U hulp tot dusver en daar is soveel positiewe dae en oorwinning na MMC, maar dit het ook soms rowwe dae waar ek weet ek kan ne alleen staan nie.

How do you describe 200 000 men coming together to meet with God and worship over three days?

How do you describe 200 000 men with their hands in the air singing their hearts out in praise of their Saviour?

How do you describe the echo of *Amen" across he plains and valleys from 200 000 men simultaneously?

How do you describe an unprecidented number of men publicly raising their hands for the first time in acceptance of the Lord Jesus Christ as their personel lord and saviour?

How do you describe 200 000 men gathered to pray for the healing of God's servant, Angus?

You cannot describe it, because it is of God, He is Almighty, He is Glorius and He is indescribable!!

Thank you Angus for heeding the call to show us how real and mighty God is to us the sons of this great land.

After MMC09 I started a prayer group at work with 4 people. I just could not keep everything I experienced at MMC to myself and started sharing it with young people that reports to me. I am Afrikaans and as most of the group is English I bought an English Bible and started reading to them. It only takes about ten minutes to start the day with God's word and to ask Him to strengthen us and protect us and lead us through the day. I am happy to say that this group has now grown to 10 people and God is great and assists in bringing the message of Jesus to them. Praise GOD and praise all who were at MMC and those who made it possible. Thank you Jesus.
