Some feedback from the Mighty Men Conference (MMC 2008)

This was the first view of the World's Biggest tent prepared just for us by Uncle Angus and the Team of "MightyMen-servants"

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Yes it is at least 3 rugby fields that is covered by this "colossus" of a tent. Below is the view and the small "specs" at the end above the chairs on the horison are men standing, but so far away that they look like"blips" above the chairs.

What a sight!!

Get a bit of perspective by comparing how high the screens and tent roof is compared to the man in blue at the bottom of the nearest tent post in the centrer . ... yes and there was 16 of these HUGE tentposts.

MMC 2008

I was there!!  What an amazing God we serve! An awesome weekend filled with outrageous surprises of what God can do.  The big tent was the least of the amazing things the eye could have possibly imagined, and all fitted in a single weekend - WOW!!! Can't wait for next year to see and hear what God did in and through these men that attended.

my dad came home totally inspired by the MMC 2008. He wants to take me to one of Angus' conferences but we don't have the dates. Could you please let me know when there is a conference at a rugby stadion?

On my way to KZN i was really thinking to leave South Africa because of all the bad things. Uncle Angus God really use you to open my eyes. I was looking to human beings for solutions But forgot there is a living God. The solution to all our problems.My work is about challenges on a daily basis. Thanks to you i have now a vision and yes drive for every day. Thanks for you and your son Andy to show me what is it to be humble. The trip from Cape Town to KZN was really far with a bakkie but i want to be there next year again. I wish that you can be my MENTOR. God please bless Uncle Angus to Transform South Africa

Thankyou for that amazing weekend and bringing 60000 men together to worship as one body in Christ.I know that it must have been a logistical night mare That was only made possible with a lot of hard work and the help of the MIGHTY GOD we serve.Please thank your staff on behalf of all of us that were there for all their hard work, and Angus may the Mighty GOD we serve bless you, your family and your staff abunduntly and may He protect you and your loved ones from any attack from the enemy. My broer het my vertel van die konferensie, ek weet God is ALMAGTIG EN GROOT, maar dat daar 60000 mans bymekaar was vir Jesus?!!!!!!

Dit is fantasties, kannie wag vir die DVD om beskikbaar te wees, as ouer van verstandelik baie gestremde dogter raak mens moedeloos soms as jy nie weet wat in my pragtige meisiekind se kop aangaan nie, want sy kannie kommunikeer nie.Toe ek van hierdie projek hoor, het ek besef, hoe Groot ons God is!

Amazing grace - Yes MMC from an "AFRICAN" perspective

Just when you think you know GOD, He just shows himself in different way everytime, making you wonder how BIG and POWERFULL is GOD. I think I saw another part of GOD in “mighty mans camp”, more BIG and MIGHTY than I thought HE is. I had very wonderful experience.

God also revealed something to me that the only way we can fight the issue of race in our country is through Christ Jesus. As young ‘black’ African I felt so protected and comfortable among 60000 ‘white’ Africans. I LOVE YOU ALL. May GOD continue to bless you all, till we meet again next year. AMEN!!!

Uncle Angus THANKS for not being scared on "Carte Blanche"!

Oom Angus,

I just want to say "THANK YOU!" for doing what most Christians were too scared to do - standing up and proclaming that Jesus is King.  I watched Carte Blanch last night and I must say I was upset by the way they are trying to twist and turn your attempts to bring light, love and hope to a dark South Africa.  I don't know who else watched it, but I am pretty sure most of them would agree.  But praise God!  Because there's a Afrikaans saying "Hoe bome vang die meeste wind" and the Bible clearly says that we will not have it easy spreading the Word of God - Satan will try and stop us at each corner.  Thank you for bringing the light and love of God in such an extraordinary manner.  I am now even more determined to attend one of your events, whether in Cape Town or Kimberley.  And please do have another M-M conference next year.  I am planning on making bookings for my father, husband, brother and brother-in-law to attend your conference.  The love of God is shining through you - let it shine even brighter!  Love in Christ, Maria

Hi Angus. I am so excited and awe-inspired by the way that God is using you in this country! I firmly believe, as someone else said, that the only way to fix the problems in this country is through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I also firmly believe that God is using you as a catalyst to a revival in our nation. We will only begin to see change when each Christian can stand up for what they believe in and when they start reaching out with the Love of Christ to the poor, the needy and the broken-hearted.

I'm just disappointed that I missed 'Loftus for Jesus' as the tickets were already sold out by the time I wanted to buy them! I am also almost envious of the men who get to come to your Mighty Men Conference, but I think that you have the right idea. If God can raise up Godly men to take their rightful place in the home and in society, the women and children will follow suit! That is how God ordained it after all! 

I pray that God bless you and keep you, that He makes His face to shine apon you and keep you in His perfect peace!
