TUG: Is this FIFA world cup part of the Lord’s Plan for HIS Bride to shine?

The Ultimate Goal

As soccer is not part of normal church life, this is a relevant question.

There are however some other Kingdom pointers as stated below:

  •  A prophetic word here by Andre Louw  includes the following questions
    • Do you think that the world cup coming to Africa is an accident?
    • Do you think the fact that all the eyes of the world will be turned to My beloved Africa, is a coincidence?
  • From this testimony, it is clear that the the new airport is God ordained and it is in time for the World cup, see Durban's New Airport! Praise GOD for His will …

Every Christian needs to ask some of these questions:

  • Are we ready to seize this opportunity, and to e.g. put a life coach in the lives of our orphans via soccer coaching. (We know how the Lord feels about fathering His orphans)
  • Can we not use this opportunity and reach out to our own youth, those in the neighbourhood and even the visitors during the extra long holidays?

TUG which stands for the The Ultimate Goal aims to join hands and equip each congregation and Christian to DO something during this world cup  time:

What an opportunity we have to work together!>> Read More ... >>>

Kingdom Observations and Ponderings

Kingdom Observations and Ponderings I love to ponder the possibilities and creative ways we can please God and serve others. I love to reflect on how things are, and “what if” we changed them. How can we further align ourselves toward His Most Excellent Ways. We only know in part, so it is always good to check what we think that we know often.

These are observations and ponderings can be purposeful to challenge existing paradigms, while firming up Kingdom foundations. Many of these are happening all around us, but what if they were not just the exception, but were consistently happening. What will Father do as His children grow up in becoming more like Him? My prayers are to continually stimulate possibility thoughts towards ways that bring forth His Kingdom through our lives.

Here are my Observations and Ponderings as we move into 2010:

Pray for our leaders rather than complain about who we have or don’t have in office.

God is on the throne and will have His way, regardless of who is in office and we are called to pray for His will and for His purposes to be accomplished for our nation.

Give to Caesar (government) what is Caesar’s, and give to God what is His, which are our very lives.

Jesus was consumed with His Father’s Kingdom being brought to the earth, we must focus on that rather than political processes, and give that burden to Him. Do what you are called to do, and leave the rest to Him.>> Read More ... >>>

Time to Learn Righteousness

God is is Establishing Righteousness worldwide“At night my soul longs for You,
Indeed, my spirit within me seeks You diligently;
For when the earth experiences Your judgments
The inhabitants of the world learn righteousness” (Isa. 26:9).

Fear Among the Nations
There is trepidation among the nations, and indeed there should be. Political leaders strike poses of confidence, yet express anxious whispers and dread when they are alone:

What is happening in our world? Will it get worse?

No one really knows the outcome of this time. But here is what is occurring worldwide: Over the past year the veil of deceit and subterfuge that hid the corruption in many nations is being lifted. God is exposing corruption, whether it is rooted in Wall Street or among politicians or leaders in the church. >> Read More ... >>>

The sense of privilege, that one can live without accountability either to God or to the law of man, is being judged by the Lord. There are no special people who are exempt.

Carrying the cross of righteousness around SA

18 April 2009 has come and the wall is complete! It is so wide and it reaches to the heavens; it is a wall of fire and it testifies of God's glory. On the inside of these walls the Name of Jesus sweetly and swiftly flows like a gentle breeze, over mountains and hills, graciously moving the savannah with its flow; through valleys and rivers, across the plains of the Kalahari and the Karoo.

It glides over farms and small settlements and then manoeuvres into towns and cities. it enters houses and office parks; boardrooms and government buildings...even Parliament...like a cloud of fire it covers South Africa!

Some people fall to their knees proclaiming His Lordship, others watch in awe as He settles Himself in, and there are those that try to avoid His Name...it is not possible...wherever you run, He will find you and you will be covered by His Name.

The gentle breeze of His Name as it moves grows louder and more forceful till eventually it thunders and resounds within the walls...JESUS, JESUS, JESUS...!!!>> Read More ... >>>

The Vision God gave was to rebuild broken walls and gates in South Africa and proclaim the Lordship of Christ over South Africa and praying that the nation will return to God.  The Purpose was to intercede for the nation of South Africa; repenting of our iniquity and sin and ask God to restore and heal our nation.

Extract from Blog:
Why Durban as the point of closure?
I have often wondered why myself, and on Saturday all this came together.  Previously Durban was named Port Natal. 'Natal' refers to birth and as the biggest harbour in Africa, with the port basin in a womb-like form and the closure facility at the office of Customs & Excise - the gate keeper to the port - it was all very significant in reflecting the birth of something new and huge. God does not go small!

10 Shifts Necessary for City Transformation

10 Needed steps for City TRANSFORMATIONGod has always focused on the city throughout the Scriptures and history. As we understand what God is doing in each of these “shifts” mentioned below, then we will be better able to join Him in the work of transforming our city. We must shift from:

1. Institutions to Individuals, Cities, and Nations – While we as men and women seek to build institutions, organizations, businesses, and governments, God always is looking to build an individual, city, or nation. Within cities and nations, although God uses positions, He is primarily looking for leaders who will have influence for Him.

2. Organizations to Kingdom – We are entering the next phase of what God is using to teach us about His purposes. We have gone from intimacy in the beginning, to separation, the tabernacle, the cross, the Body of Christ, to building churches, to denominations, to Christian organizations, and no to Kingdom. Our focus must be on Him and His Kingdom alone and not our own.

Righteousness Exalts a Nation

Sins of a NationUprightness and right standing with God (moral and spiritual rectitude in every area and relation) elevate a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people. Proverbs 14:34 We are in a significant transition, not only in this nation but globally. We are seeing many foundations being shaken in many different realms. We continue hearing about judgment in this nation. What if we consider it not judgment as much as the wages of sin at high levels? When sin abounds in a home, it affects the whole household. When sin abounds at a high level in a nation, it affects the whole nation.>> Read More ... >>>

Disciple Nations, Not Churches

Too many Christians and Christian leaders spend their energy, creativity and precious time promoting churches instead of the kingdom. They work for the success of their church or perhaps for a group of churches in their city, or they work for their ministry or denomination.

They believe that by building churches and ministries they are building the kingdom. They think church and kingdom are practically synonymous. This isolation of the church from the world has led to ineffectiveness and failure to carry out the Great Commission. >> Read More ... >>>

The church is not the kingdom. Jesus said: "Nor will people say, 'See here!' or 'See there!' For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you" (Luke 17:21, NKJV). It's not confined to temples and churches. No church can contain or control the kingdom of God. The kingdom is meant to inhabit the entire earth, not just your church sanctuary.

"THE COMING WAVE"

During the early hours of the morning in December, 1978, I was seeking the face of the Lord, and this is what He showed me ...There will be a wave of God's Spirit, which will not have it's origin with any man or group but in Heaven, from the very throne of God! This move will sweep simultaneously over the Church of God and God's Children, bringing them into a relationship with Himself and each other, far beyond anything previously experienced.

It will be in Holiness, a wave of God's Presence for His Presence manifests itself in Holiness Exodus 3:14.>> Read More ... >>>

This wave will wash over His Church, seeking out all who are looking for and awaiting His Coming and will draw them to Himself!
