We attended the meeting in Durban and were delighted for this word with some reference to our Country. This helps us in SA to discern the signs of the times for us, by listening what the Lord is revealing through this team during October 2009:

While in South Africa following Rosh Hashanah, very clear revelatory insights were given concerning Zebulun and the blessing of Moses found in Deuteronomy 33:18-19 saying:

Of Zebulun he said, "Rejoice, Zebulun, in your going forth, and, Issachar, in your tents. They will call peoples to the mountain; there they will offer righteous sacrifices; for they will draw out the abundance of the seas, and the hidden treasures of the sand.">> Read More ... >>>

The name Zebulun means "a habitation" but the land of Zebulun was once ostracized for its darkness and apostasy. However, one visitation from the Lord Jesus and it became known as a land of illumination and a source of great Light (Matthew 4:15-16). This blessing provides a prophetic picture of many places being positioned for divine visitation. I believe this will be especially true along certain coastal areas that have received prophetic promises through the blessings of Zebulun.

  I have discovered that, as we seek the Lord, our most difficult periods can be transformed into wonderful breakthroughs into God's love. As a speaker in citywide and regional prayer conferences, I am often asked to unmask the "spiritual power" opposing the body of Christ in the conference region. City leaders and intercessors have even asked if I knew the "name" of the principle spirit that is resisting the church in their area.

My questioners, who suddenly look like a tree full of owls, are always bewildered by my answer. They are sure I misunderstood their question. Then, I explain. I remind them that, according to the Scriptures, "God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble" (James 4:6). So, if we are divided in our hearts from other churches, if we instinctively look down on other Christians or if we are at all self-promoting in attitude, we are walking in pride. As such, the Spirit that stands to resist our endeavors is not demonic; it's God.

“At night my soul longs for You,
Indeed, my spirit within me seeks You diligently;
For when the earth experiences Your judgments
The inhabitants of the world learn righteousness” (Isa. 26:9).

Fear Among the Nations
There is trepidation among the nations, and indeed there should be. Political leaders strike poses of confidence, yet express anxious whispers and dread when they are alone:

What is happening in our world? Will it get worse?

No one really knows the outcome of this time. But here is what is occurring worldwide: Over the past year the veil of deceit and subterfuge that hid the corruption in many nations is being lifted. The sense of privilege, that one can live without accountability either to God or to the law of man, is being judged by the Lord. There are no special people who are exempt.

It glides over farms and small settlements and then manoeuvres into towns and cities. it enters houses and office parks; boardrooms and government buildings...even Parliament...like a cloud of fire it covers South Africa!  

Some people fall to their knees proclaiming His Lordship, others watch in awe as He settles Himself in, and there are those that try to avoid His Name...it is not possible...wherever you run, He will find you and you will be covered by His Name.

The Vision God gave was to rebuild broken walls and gates in South Africa and proclaim the Lordship of Christ over South Africa and praying that the nation will return to God.  The Purpose was to intercede for the nation of South Africa; repenting of our iniquity and sin and ask God to restore and heal our nation.

Why Durban as the point of closure? I have often wondered why myself, and on Saturday all this came together.  Previously Durban was named Port Natal. 'Natal' refers to birth and as the biggest harbour in Africa, with the port basin in a womb-like form and the closure facility at the office of Customs & Excise - the gate keeper to the port - it was all very significant in reflecting the birth of something new and huge. God does not go small!

I received this testimony from a good friend of mine who happened to be the Head Paramedic at Mighty Men 09. Hans also was the paramedic on scene when Angus collapsed. It just confirms the power of God and His heart to heal. In addition to that – being on ones knees amongst 200 000 men praying for a healing is an experience to behold – and then feeling the power of God move in that.
