I am very thankful for those pioneers of the Kingdom of God, going all the way back to Abraham, who've braved the unknown and the scorn of others to press forward in their obedience to God's call and leading. We owe everything we are and have to the spiritual and natural pioneers who've faced misunderstanding and death at almost every turn to pave the way for those of us in this day to settle and enjoy the blessings and benefits, both from the spiritual and natural dimensions.
There are many pioneers still moving forward into realms yet unreached for no other reason than they heard the voice of Abba call them, and they've left all to pursue Him out of love and simple obedience. This is a lonely, misunderstood and often dangerous place to be, fraught with spiritual, mental, emotional, financial and relational pressures and warfare that we may not be aware of. I have a message for those pioneers that answered the call of God to press into the unknown: you are NOT a failure. . . . Read More ... >>>

Even as [in His love] He chose us [actually picked us out for Himself as His own] in Christ before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy (consecrated and set apart for Him) and blameless in His sight, even above reproach, before Him in love.”
Only the eternal, uncreated, omnipotent and omniscient God has the capacity and willingness to declare a thing to be what it is years before it has even come into being. The Seed is God’s inheritance in the form of the prophetic perfect. God speaks of the future as if it were already in the present and declares something complete because it is anchored in the certainty of God’s intention to bring it to fulfillment. . . . Luke 22:24-29 24Also a dispute arose among them as to which of them was considered to be greatest. 25Jesus said to them, "The kings of the Gentiles lord it over them; and those who exercise authority over them call themselves Benefactors. 26But you are not to be like that. True warriors meet here and see how a farmer "burn" for Christ.
"Walk your talk" and "are you prepare to pay the price" are not uncommon sayings in this company.

I have discovered that, as we seek the Lord, our most difficult periods can be transformed into wonderful breakthroughs into God's love. For me, one such season occurred during the years 1979 to 1981. The association of churches with which I was aligned had fallen under spiritual deception. Not only were its core doctrines increasingly seeded with New Age influences, but immorality crept in, and key leaders began leaving their wives for other women. I could no longer remain silent. As a result, in 1979 I left my congregation in Detroit, Michigan, where I had served as pastor, and traveled to the organization's regional headquarters in Iowa. I came to plead for repentance. However, after meeting with the senior leaders, I was asked to leave the group.
So here we were—we had left our church, we had no money, and we had four little children and couldn't afford even basic housing. . . . Read More ... >>>

1. You inwardly celebrate when a colleague or fellow minister falls.
2. Your spirit of competition causes you to inwardly celebrate when other organizations or ministries in your field aren’t doing as well as you.
3. You are more concerned about your local church or organization than the good of the kingdom of God and cultural transformation.
4. You manipulate people to promote yourself and try to make things happen instead of allowing God to open doors and promote you.
5. You look for opportunities to backstab other leaders in your region or field of work.
6. You are driven to succeed to counter your insecurity, poor self-esteem and a sense of insignificance.
7. You thwart the emergence of other strong leaders in your organization. . . . Read More ... >>>

"If you knew that I was after the best, then why did you do less than the least?" (Matthew 25:26, The Message). Sooner or later we each will have to face the moment of truth -- when our lives are measured in the light of eternity. There is an abiding reality within the depths of our souls that stirs us to pursue that which is good and true, that which is virtuous and noble. By divine instinct we shun death, disease, and destruction -- for we were not made for these things. And though this fallen world is marred with the ever-encroaching presence of evil, our hearts are up-linked to more heavenly pursuits. We were not made for failure, but success. We were not designed to malfunction, but to excel. We are not at ease settling for that which we know is less than our best. But, then, why do so many seem so ready to surrender to mediocrity? . . . Contrary to popular belief, success is not a product of chance. It is not the result of random selection or of a pre-determined function of fate. Success is written into the spiritual DNA by God for all mankind, no matter who they are, what financial or social environment they were born into, or what an individual may believe about himself. God has hardwired us to be successful. Failure does not exist in the plan of our Lord. Just as there is no failure in the hopes and dreams of parents toward their children, . . . Read More ... >>>

The only thing that was ever "stolen" from you was YOU. The enemy never took a thing from you. He didn't take your family. He didn't take your car. He didn't steal your job. If you never knew YOU "you never owned a thing." And if you never truly knew God, "you never truly knew YOU!"
Any material that is given to a "unknown or unidentified identity" is a loss waiting to happen. This biggest challenge of the soul is to rightly identify ones self. Many live in this generation "unknown, unborn, unfulfilled, and unrealized!" Whenever there is an existence without the knowledge of God and His Kingdom, "you have not yet arrived!"
The Kingdom will create an Awakening that will compel the heart to seek for God, which therefore will seek for itself also. Finding God "will also find YOU!" Jesus is the Way to God "which is also the way to YOU!" When you discover YOU, and recover YOU, then YOU will finally be able to worship the Lord. The greatest form of worship is not mere singing or the raising of the hands. The greatest form of worship "is imitation!" When you discover who YOU are, . . . Read More ... >>>

As a speaker in citywide and regional prayer conferences, I am often asked to unmask the "spiritual power" opposing the body of Christ in the conference region. City leaders and intercessors have even asked if I knew the "name" of the principle spirit that is resisting the church in their area.
"Do you want to know the name of the most powerful spirit opposing most Christians?" I ask. Eager faces respond affirmatively.
"It's Yahweh." My questioners, who suddenly look like a tree full of owls, are always bewildered by my answer. They are sure I misunderstood their question. Then, I explain. I remind them that, according to the Scriptures, "God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble" (James 4:6). So, if we are divided in our hearts from other churches, if we instinctively look down on other Christians or if we are at all self-promoting in attitude, we are walking in pride. As such, the Spirit that stands to resist our endeavors is not demonic; it's God. . . . Read More ... >>>

This story started many years ago in a Baptist church in Bournemouth, England. One night the pastor, Dr. Francis Dixon asked a man named Peter to share his testimony.
Peter got up and said, "This is how I was saved. I was in the Royal Navy. I was walking down George Street in Sydney, Australia and out of nowhere stepped a gentleman and he said to me, 'excuse me, sir, but could I ask you a question? I hope that it won't offend you, but if you were to die today, where would you spend eternity? The Bible says that it will either be in heaven or in hell. Would you think about that, please? Thank you. God bless you!" Then the man left. I had never been confronted with that question - I couldn't get it out of my mind. I got back to England and met someone who took me to a mission and that's where I became a Christian". . . . Read More ... >>>

18 April 2009 has come and the wall is complete! It is so wide and it reaches to the heavens; it is a wall of fire and it testifies of God's glory. On the inside of these walls the Name of Jesus sweetly and swiftly flows like a gentle breeze, over mountains and hills, graciously moving the savannah with its flow; through valleys and rivers, across the plains of the Kalahari and the Karoo.
It glides over farms and small settlements and then manoeuvres into towns and cities. it enters houses and office parks; boardrooms and government buildings...even Parliament...like a cloud of fire it covers South Africa!
Some people fall to their knees proclaiming His Lordship, others watch in awe as He settles Himself in, and there are those that try to avoid His Name...it is not possible...wherever you run, He will find you and you will be covered by His Name.
The gentle breeze of His Name as it moves grows louder and more forceful till eventually it thunders and resounds within the walls...JESUS, JESUS, JESUS...!!!
The Vision God gave was to rebuild broken walls and gates in South Africa and proclaim the Lordship of Christ over South Africa and praying that the nation will return to God. The Purpose was to intercede for the nation of South Africa; repenting of our iniquity and sin and ask God to restore and heal our nation.
Extract from Blog: Why Durban as the point of closure? I have often wondered why myself, and on Saturday all this came together. Previously Durban was named Port Natal. 'Natal' refers to birth and as the biggest harbour in Africa, with the port basin in a womb-like form and the closure facility at the office of Customs & Excise - the gate keeper to the port - it was all very significant in reflecting the birth of something new and huge. God does not go small! . . . Read More ... >>>

I received this testimony from a good friend of mine who happened to be the Head Paramedic at Mighty Men 09. Hans also was the paramedic on scene when Angus collapsed. It just confirms the power of God and His heart to heal. In addition to that – being on ones knees amongst 200 000 men praying for a healing is an experience to behold – and then feeling the power of God move in that.

The gift is in us, but we have the responsibility to stir it up. The apostle Paul wrote to Timothy, "For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you" (2 Timothy 1:6).
In the New King James Version of the Bible, the verse is translated, "Stir up the gift of God."
The gift is not something we learn.
It is something God gave us.
It is something we need to discover and then stir up.
No one else can activate your gift for you.
You have to do it yourself.
You stir up your gift by developing, refining, enhancing, and using it. . . . Read More ... >>>

I have a dream... Do you have a
dream?
What a privilege it is to have this question and this challenge put to

It is a question that makes the mind create vision and hope for the

aged between 6 and 15. A brave policeman

I
believe there is nothing more dangerous to a Christian than to carry
around a resentment against God. Yet I am shocked by the growing number
of believers I meet who are peeved at the Lord. They may not admit as
much - but deep inside, they hold some kind of grudge against him. Why?
They believe he's not interested in their lives or problems! They're
convinced he doesn't care - because he hasn't answered a particular
prayer or acted on their behalf
I
received a letter recently from a young man who's incarcerated in a
southern prison. This convict was once a committed Christian - but now
he says he's mad at God. He wrote: . . . Read More ... >>>
