Kingdom Pioneers: You Are Not a Failure!Submitted by ServeTheServants on Thu, 2010/07/01 - 4:45pm
There are many pioneers still moving forward into realms yet unreached for no other reason than they heard the voice of Abba call them, and they've left all to pursue Him out of love and simple obedience. This is a lonely, misunderstood and often dangerous place to be, fraught with spiritual, mental, emotional, financial and relational pressures and warfare that we may not be aware of. I have a message for those pioneers that answered the call of God to press into the unknown: you are NOT a failure. . . . God has made numerous promises regarding the power of faith. Faith can move mountains. Faith can heal diseases. Faith can receive answers to prayers. Nothing is impossible with faith. Yet, many know the power of faith and still are not seeing many positive results in terms of the "quality of their relationships” I have a friend who fasted for 27 days wanting the supernatural power of God, and at the end, all he got was skinny. But over that incident and many years of searching, it came down to the revelation that miraculous faith is birthed through supernatural agape love. James says faith without works is dead, and equally, faith without love is dead (James 2:20). Below are some key points to love and relationships in the Kingdom: . . . Even as [in His love] He chose us [actually picked us out for Himself as His own] in Christ before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy (consecrated and set apart for Him) and blameless in His sight, even above reproach, before Him in love.” Only the eternal, uncreated, omnipotent and omniscient God has the capacity and willingness to declare a thing to be what it is years before it has even come into being. The Seed is God’s inheritance in the form of the prophetic perfect. God speaks of the future as if it were already in the present and declares something complete because it is anchored in the certainty of God’s intention to bring it to fulfillment. . . . Yesterday, I spent the day alone doing things that are far richer shared with someone very special, but that was not to be. It was the first Valentine’s Day I have ever spent without those simple wordsY, “I love you” being spoken in my ear by someone who did. While I am confident that day, I spent the day alone doing things that are far richer shared with someone very special, but that was not to be. It was the first Valentine’s Day I better days lay ahead, yesterday was not one of them. But I learned something… . . . The term “wilderness experience” rarely, if ever, means a time or place of leisure. A wilderness certainly is no oasis. In fact, by definition it is a remote environment devoid of all outward appeal, hope or comfort. It is a hostile place where few would willingly go. Most of us actually would resist going into a wilderness, yet that is exactly where God sent His Son. Truly Christ-Centered Leader Development
God’s ultimate purpose in all things revolves around His Son:
The Son of God, Himself, is the final and complete revelation of God . . . Read More ... >>> Rejoicing in the Midst of All Things
"Love Me Where You're At"Submitted by ServeTheServants on Thu, 2009/10/15 - 7:00am
I have discovered that, as we seek the Lord, our most difficult periods can be transformed into wonderful breakthroughs into God's love. For me, one such season occurred during the years 1979 to 1981. The association of churches with which I was aligned had fallen under spiritual deception. Not only were its core doctrines increasingly seeded with New Age influences, but immorality crept in, and key leaders began leaving their wives for other women. I could no longer remain silent. As a result, in 1979 I left my congregation in Detroit, Michigan, where I had served as pastor, and traveled to the organization's regional headquarters in Iowa. I came to plead for repentance. However, after meeting with the senior leaders, I was asked to leave the group.
So here we were—we had left our church, we had no money, and we had four little children and couldn't afford even basic housing. . . . Read More ... >>> Motivation and Obedience in ChildrenSubmitted by ServeTheMinistries on Wed, 2009/09/09 - 9:15pm

Any material that is given to a "unknown or unidentified identity" is a loss waiting to happen. This biggest challenge of the soul is to rightly identify ones self. Many live in this generation "unknown, unborn, unfulfilled, and unrealized!" Whenever there is an existence without the knowledge of God and His Kingdom, "you have not yet arrived!" The Kingdom will create an Awakening that will compel the heart to seek for God, which therefore will seek for itself also. Finding God "will also find YOU!" Jesus is the Way to God "which is also the way to YOU!" When you discover YOU, and recover YOU, then YOU will finally be able to worship the Lord. The greatest form of worship is not mere singing or the raising of the hands. The greatest form of worship "is imitation!" When you discover who YOU are, . . . In examining this subject I believe the reason for this belief is most likely a confusion of the concepts of joy and happiness. Joy is an inward sense of peace, contentment, and even ecstasy due to our righteous standing in Christ and fellowship with the Holy Spirit. This state of joy should be present in all believers in spite of the circumstances or challenges one might be facing. Joy is a supernatural experience that cannot be explained outside of a supernatural act of God. As the song writer said, "The world didn't give us joy so the world can't take it away!" . . . He came to Simon Peter, who said to him, 'Lord, do you wash my feet?' Jesus answered him, 'What I am doing you do not understand now, but afterward you will understand.' Peter said to him, 'You shall never wash my feet.' Jesus answered him, 'If I do not wash you, you have no share with me.' Simon Peter said to him, 'Lord, not my feet only but also my hands and my head!' Jesus said to him, 'The one who has bathed does not need to wash, except for his feet. But is completely clean. And you are clean, but not every one of you.' John 13:6-10 It was not unusual for Peter to over react. We are glad, because we can all identify with him and learn from what Jesus said to him. Remember that this is the occasion of Jesus giving his last instructions to the disciples before his death. He is giving them a picture of what service in the kingdom of God looks like by washing their feet. . . . Read More ... >>> |
