Vision by Johan Boot I was standing in a beautiful garden when the Lord approached me. I saw that He held a sword and a scroll in his hands. "Come, I will show you things I am about to do in the church." I followed Him along a path in the garden. There was beautiful music and praise throughout the garden. "This is the place of rest in Me. I desire My people to come and experience My rest. For a long time My people have fought the enemy in the flesh with human wisdom and understanding. You cannot fight the enemy with human understanding, you can only destroy His works by the power of the Spirit in My Name." The peace in the garden surpassed a person's understanding. It seemed to lift you above every human imaginations and desire. "In this place of rest, you will find the Sword and the Wisdom needed to overcome the plans and strategies of the enemy." I then understood the purpose of the sword and the scroll which the Lord was carrying.
We came to a place where the Lord showed me a spiritual battle. I could see how believers where fighting against the hosts of darkness. They were proclaiming the Word of the Lord, together with the Name and Blood of Christ. I saw how the hosts of wickedness were afraid of these spiritual attacks. Each time a prayer was prayed in the Name of Jesus, light would be released in the direction of the enemy and it would scramble around in fear. But strangely it did not destroy the enemy. Neither did it have a lasting destructive effect on the demonic forces. It simply upset the enemy's camp, causing disorganisation and fear. I then turned to the Lord for wisdom.
"When fighting against the enemy through human wisdom and understanding, you will see the enemy simply regrouping for a new attack, as soon as the prayer has stopped. You will always be engaging in warfare against the same enemies, without experiencing an overcoming victory. Overcoming victory only comes when I fight for you. . . . Read More ... >>>

Ek gaan Mam help pak. Haar huis is verkoop, Hallejula ! Dus gaan ek so bietjie aanwakker.
So ry ek die langpad want die kortpad is onbegaanbaar vanweë padwerke wat halfpad tot stilstand gekom het oor ‘n bakleiery tussen die kontrakteurs en die Provinsiale regering. Ek maak my boksie Smarties en blikkie Ystee oop . . . Read More ... >>>

Even as [in His love] He chose us [actually picked us out for Himself as His own] in Christ before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy (consecrated and set apart for Him) and blameless in His sight, even above reproach, before Him in love.”
Only the eternal, uncreated, omnipotent and omniscient God has the capacity and willingness to declare a thing to be what it is years before it has even come into being. The Seed is God’s inheritance in the form of the prophetic perfect. God speaks of the future as if it were already in the present and declares something complete because it is anchored in the certainty of God’s intention to bring it to fulfillment. . . . Luke 22:24-29 24Also a dispute arose among them as to which of them was considered to be greatest. 25Jesus said to them, "The kings of the Gentiles lord it over them; and those who exercise authority over them call themselves Benefactors. 26But you are not to be like that. MMC2010 One of the most life changing weekends for "Mighty Men in Christ".
True warriors meet here and see how a farmer "burn" for Christ.
"Walk your talk" and "are you prepare to pay the price" are not uncommon sayings in this company.
This is the example set out to mentor and demonstrate "Faith like potatoes"?

Giants are never alone and they are always armed
They posses the land you are about to enter
They are greedy and always want more
They are strong and full of confidence – but when they hear of the victories of Jehovah they become terrified and there hearts melt with fear
But you chosen one - LISTEN - the time is here to cross the Jordan
Hear the voice of the Lord like Joshua and RISE UP

An Initiative of Jericho Walls Prayer Network supported by Global Day of Prayer and NIRSA (National Initiative forReformation in SA)
Dear Friends We are calling the nation to a week of intense prayer about the issue of violence, crime and corruption in our nation. All of us are effected by violence. Many suffer. People from all walks of life and in all suburbs and townships suffer. Women and children suffer through increasing domestic violence, caused by alcohol abuse and other forces that cause violence. Cape Town has been identified as the 5th most violent city in the world and Johannesburg is number 20. Corruption, crime, violence, violent crime, murder, rape, abortion, domestic violence, etc is rampant in our nation.
We want to encourage Christians to take 23-29 November to pray for one week with all seriousness, repentance and commitment about this . . . Read More ... >>>

"Restoring the Moravian Fire: The Power of Persistent Prayer"
I want to share some of my thoughts as I have had a lot of time alone over these last few weeks due to my recovery time needed from the intense cancer treatment. I have had time to think, ponder, reflect, pray, rest—oh yes, rest. I have had time to evaluate once again what I want to do with my life and how I can make the greatest impact on this generation. . . . Read More ... >>>

I Have this burden on my heart to share some thoughts on a thorny matter.
If I have to give this ‘matter’ a title, it will have to be long title like William Wilberforce’s book:A Practical view of the prevailing religion system of professed Christians in the higher and middle classes in this country, contrasted with Real Christianity’. My title will be the following:
A code of conduct as a helpful aid in protecting Real Christians from the sin of adultery / emotional adultery / marital unfaithfulness and other smaller not-easily recognizable sins relating to Real Christian Marriages and Friendships.
The essence of this matter I cannot put in better words than those of Frank Peretti in the introduction to his book, ‘The Oath’
Sin is the monster we love to deny. . . . Read More ... >>>

1. You inwardly celebrate when a colleague or fellow minister falls.
2. Your spirit of competition causes you to inwardly celebrate when other organizations or ministries in your field aren’t doing as well as you.
3. You are more concerned about your local church or organization than the good of the kingdom of God and cultural transformation.
4. You manipulate people to promote yourself and try to make things happen instead of allowing God to open doors and promote you.
5. You look for opportunities to backstab other leaders in your region or field of work.
6. You are driven to succeed to counter your insecurity, poor self-esteem and a sense of insignificance.
7. You thwart the emergence of other strong leaders in your organization. . . . Read More ... >>>

Matthew strategically wrote his gospel account to show how the Jewish leaders rejected Jesus as their Messiah. Their debates with our Lord increased until it reached a climax in the Twelfth Chapter. This was the turning point. In the first eleven chapters, Jesus spoke openly about the Kingdom of God being offered to national Israel. After chapter twelve, however, He only spoke in dark parables. Explaining Himself to His disciples, He quoted the prophesy of Isaiah,
"And in them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says: 'Hearing you will hear and shall not understand, and seeing you will see and not perceive; . . . Read More ... >>>

As a speaker in citywide and regional prayer conferences, I am often asked to unmask the "spiritual power" opposing the body of Christ in the conference region. City leaders and intercessors have even asked if I knew the "name" of the principle spirit that is resisting the church in their area.
"Do you want to know the name of the most powerful spirit opposing most Christians?" I ask. Eager faces respond affirmatively.
"It's Yahweh." My questioners, who suddenly look like a tree full of owls, are always bewildered by my answer. They are sure I misunderstood their question. Then, I explain. I remind them that, according to the Scriptures, "God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble" (James 4:6). So, if we are divided in our hearts from other churches, if we instinctively look down on other Christians or if we are at all self-promoting in attitude, we are walking in pride. As such, the Spirit that stands to resist our endeavors is not demonic; it's God. . . . Read More ... >>>

18 April 2009 has come and the wall is complete! It is so wide and it reaches to the heavens; it is a wall of fire and it testifies of God's glory. On the inside of these walls the Name of Jesus sweetly and swiftly flows like a gentle breeze, over mountains and hills, graciously moving the savannah with its flow; through valleys and rivers, across the plains of the Kalahari and the Karoo.
It glides over farms and small settlements and then manoeuvres into towns and cities. it enters houses and office parks; boardrooms and government buildings...even Parliament...like a cloud of fire it covers South Africa!
Some people fall to their knees proclaiming His Lordship, others watch in awe as He settles Himself in, and there are those that try to avoid His Name...it is not possible...wherever you run, He will find you and you will be covered by His Name.
The gentle breeze of His Name as it moves grows louder and more forceful till eventually it thunders and resounds within the walls...JESUS, JESUS, JESUS...!!!
The Vision God gave was to rebuild broken walls and gates in South Africa and proclaim the Lordship of Christ over South Africa and praying that the nation will return to God. The Purpose was to intercede for the nation of South Africa; repenting of our iniquity and sin and ask God to restore and heal our nation.
Extract from Blog: Why Durban as the point of closure? I have often wondered why myself, and on Saturday all this came together. Previously Durban was named Port Natal. 'Natal' refers to birth and as the biggest harbour in Africa, with the port basin in a womb-like form and the closure facility at the office of Customs & Excise - the gate keeper to the port - it was all very significant in reflecting the birth of something new and huge. God does not go small! . . . Read More ... >>>

(1) "The reality God has planned will always manifest first in the prayer life of His intercessors.
(2) "Prayer warriors are the most frightening, powerful, demon-chasing, world-moving beings on earth."
Now, LET's also GO PRAY TOGETHER at the Global Day of Prayer on 31 st of May!
