• First, God won’t hear a person who "regards iniquity." David the Psalmist wrote, “If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me” (Psalm 66:18).
• The second type of person God refuses to hear is someone who tries to manipulate him in prayer. Jesus told his disciples in Matthew 6:7 that the pagans thought they would be heard for their “much speaking.” The implication was...they weren’t!
• Third, God won’t hear the prayer of a “double-minded person.” (Jas. 1:5-8)
