I was standing in a beautiful garden when the Lord approached me. I saw that He held a sword and a scroll in his hands. "Come, I will show you things I am about to do in the church." I followed Him along a path in the garden.
There was beautiful music and praise throughout the garden. "This is the place of rest in Me. I desire My people to come and experience My rest. For a long time My people have fought the enemy in the flesh with human wisdom
and understanding. You cannot fight the enemy with human understanding, you can only destroy His works by the power of the Spirit in My Name." The peace in the garden surpassed a person's understanding. It seemed to lift you
above every human imaginations and desire. "In this place of rest, you will find the Sword and the Wisdom needed to overcome the plans and strategies of the enemy." I then understood the purpose of the sword and the scroll which the Lord was carrying.

We came to a place where the Lord showed me a spiritual battle. I could see how believers where fighting against the hosts of darkness. They were proclaiming the Word of the Lord, together with the Name and Blood of Christ. I saw how the hosts of wickedness were afraid of these spiritual attacks. Each time a prayer was prayed in the Name of Jesus, light would be released in the direction of the enemy and it would scramble around in fear.
But strangely it did not destroy the enemy. Neither did it have a lasting destructive effect on the demonic forces. It simply upset the enemy's camp, causing disorganisation and fear. I then turned to the Lord for wisdom.

"When fighting against the enemy through human wisdom and understanding, you will see the enemy simply regrouping for a new attack, as soon as the prayer has stopped. Some years ago, I was pondering the Lord being "One" and yet at the same time the Triune Godhead. I don't mind telling you that it seemed beyond my comprehension as I struggled with how it is possible for the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit to be three and yet "One." Therefore I asked Him. While in South Africa following Rosh Hashanah, very clear revelatory insights were given concerning Zebulun and the blessing of Moses found in Deuteronomy 33:18-19 saying:

Of Zebulun he said, "Rejoice, Zebulun, in your going forth, and, Issachar, in your tents. They will call peoples to the mountain; there they will offer righteous sacrifices; for they will draw out the abundance of the seas, and the hidden treasures of the sand."

The name Zebulun means "a habitation" but the land of Zebulun was once ostracized for its darkness and apostasy. However, one visitation from the Lord Jesus and it became known as a land of illumination and a source of great Light (Matthew 4:15-16). This blessing provides a prophetic picture of many places being positioned for divine visitation. The apostle Paul prayed more than he preached. I conclude this from his own confession that he "ceased not" to make mention of the Ephesians in his prayers. This is the same man who exhorted us to pray without ceasing, 1Thes 2:13, 5:17, 2Tim 1:3 with Eph. 6:18. He wouldn't ask what he didn't do himself.

Why so much prayer when he had so much revelation? He was an excellent teacher despite what some thought. No one had his revelations. They form the cornerstones of New Testament doctrine. One would think that the teachings themselves would have such weight of influence that they would automatically accomplish what they revealed. They didn't and they couldn't and he knew it. He knew that something more must be added to what he taught in order to drive in the truth.

This something more was prayer and specific prayer. Not just any prayer would do, but prayer aimed at penetrating the inward man to reveal something that would ultimately take over the believer.
