CrossConnections.network received this encouraging networking vision in February 2004
From: Mariet Ray Sent: 28 February 2004 11:15 To: CrossConnections.net Subject: note from Mariet Durban Thanks for your very valuable informative and useful network coordinating. I would like to share the vision the Lord has been giving me over a few months. I've unintentionally tuned into Radio Pulpit's program Mosaic on a Tuesday morning. The presenter interviews different people with a wide range of ministries and invariably someone would phone afterwards requiring a telephone number in order to connect with a previous interviewee. I became intensely aware of the tremendous variety of ministries varying in size and focus. It was then that the Lord showed me a catch net such as used in the circus which would safe guard a trapeze should they fall. I sensed He was saying that the different ministries in our country manned by 'insignificant' people who have a heart that reaches out to those in need as He shows them, form the strands of this net. The more ministries the more strands and the smaller the holes preventing more people from falling through. Now, I also sensed that there should be a 'network' that will list every single ministry in our country - not evangelisation/mission ministries - ministries tending to needs in the society /market place we live in - yes with the purpose of sharing the love of the Lord Jesus and Father God. If a mission does reach out to the community that should be included. Christians specifically, are targeted to give their Bank account nrs - and then the criminals clear it.Submitted by Cross Connections on Sat, 2006/09/02 - 2:52pmOur ministry are daily bombarded with many of these schemes. They are specifially targeting Chistians because it seems their success rate is higher because we tend to love, believe and trust people more more!.The pattern: (1) Get some emails of good Christians (2) Send them a heartbreaking or delighted email and get them to divulge their bank account nr and name to the Schammer.>> Read More ... >>> A Challenge! - help "design better ministry tools" for the next generation.Submitted by JohanLabuschagne on Thu, 2006/08/31 - 2:24pmHow can this generation lock shoulders and help the next generation to climb on our shoulders to build higher and better for God?What about Knowledge transfer and impartation?Yes blogging is in a way an electronic diary but can we not use it to share our mistakes lessons etc with the next generation. Life is too short to make all the mistakes oneself.>> Read More ... >>> Thank Goodness For GodSubmitted by ThankGoodnessForGod on Mon, 2009/04/27 - 12:39pmThank Goodness For GodPlease post your testimonials of how the Lord has worked in your life or those of your loved ones at http://thankgoodnessforgod.synthasite.com/ This site is all about sharing with others the goodness that God brings to our everyday lives as well as our particularly trying times.>> Read More ... >>> |
