I'm having the same problem! I want to hear him speak. I don't think he wants his contact info to be public. Either too humble, or too many requests to come to churches and personal prayer requests. He is Angus you know. Not trying to exalt him, but he is a very good influential speaker inspired by our Lord. Please buy his DVD called (lemme go check...) wow ok. that was obvious; "The Angus Buchan Story." It is just as inspiring and I truely mean it when I tell you. Very loyal, humble servant to God. God did miracles through Angus' hands and feet and faith in Him.

We are so used to this fight, since the enemy hate what we are doing and try to blast the site with porno and all types of bad messages but we have normally some good armor to keep it clean. (It is just when we are on the MMC camp and still want to allow the ladies to post immediate that the nasty guys could take advantage of it, but it was easy to sort them out when we were back.

We are not sure if Uncle Angus visit this platform, but there are people praying for you, especially when the Lord leads them to do so when they read your prayer request..

On a previous MMC camp and the last one Uncle Angus stressed that being a Christian is not easy and plain sailing. We are in a spiritual war, and the enemy prefer to go for Christians and not his own followers. (Even Uncle Angus asked us to pray for him daily so that He does not fall)

But we are here to encourage and pray for each other. You are absolutely on the right track. Yes, Hearing from God what you must do. The answers from God, does not always come when and how one expect it, but God is always faithful. We are in the mill and moving from "trusting people and loving God" towards "Trusting God and loving people" see more about it here Betrayed by Trust

We are all in the proces to hear God clearer and not trust on people to hear from God on our behalf. Press in ... even fast and pray help sometimes for quicker answers. Our experience is that Only when you look back, that you so clearly saw how God had led you to hear and trust on Him...

In the heat of the battle it is just about faith in Him, that is, when you look forward. Psalm 91 is the one that kept us going..

My family has been going through similar tough times at the moment. Before I give you my message I will tell you about my situation so you can see it has not been easy.

 I fell pregnant last year with my 2nd baby, this was unplanned as my first child was only 10 months old. This was a very tough pregnancy. I went into labour around 26 weeks, which is extremely early and dangerous for the baby. Babies being born at this age can survive but the ones that do can have serious complications. Just before this my husband injured his back and as a result lost his contract because he was not able to drive to get to work (contractor not perm employee). Luckly he had insurance but it took us 4 months to get any payout during this time we lived on the little savings we had.

Then my husband had to go and work in Dubai so that we could have a little income until he could get an income over December and January as it is difficult to get a contract during this time. While he was in Dubai I was having problems coping as I was heavily pregnant and looking after an extremely active toddler. My husband then returned from Dubai with his clients permission because the rest of his contract could be completed off site. This must have been planned by God and with his blessing because about a week before he was due to come back to SA, I was having severe cramps. I could not get hold of my Gynea and the GP put me on incorrect medication. Shortly after starting the medication the cramps were back and worse. I was admitted to hospital for 3 days before they had to do an emergancy CS as my baby was in danger, I had uterus infection. She was born 35 weeks premature and was in NICU for 10 days due to infection and a bubble in her lung which had to be drained. If my husband was not home, I most probably would not have gone to my Gynea and I do't know what would have happened to me or our baby. 

The company that sent my husband to Dubai were not paying as stipulated in the contract and my husband threatend to withdraw due to breach. They payed him the first few days he worked, it was about 2 weeks salary. They did not pay him for any of the other work he did, they still owe us about a 2 month salary which would have helped us cope during the first 2 months of this year.

We are now in June and as of the 1st of this month my husband only had contracts for 2 months of this year. He now has a great long term contract with more perks than we ever could have hoped for. He also like the people he works with they trust him and they like him too, it is also close too home than he has ever worked since we were married. thes were all thing we were praying for. God answers prayers, just have faith!

During this time of hardship me and my husband were both lead to God, we have a strong relasionship with Him now even though we know we still have a lot to learn. He has brought us to our knees literally and we have given our lives completly to Him to hold in His hands. There were times and still today there are times that we do not know where we are going to get enough food to make it through the month. Out of the blue friends just came with meat, saying 'here is a gift for you, we went hunting the weekend,' and 'oh, I slaughtered a few chickens, here have 4.' If this is not the work of God I don't know. We did not think we would have enough fuel to make it through this month so hubby could get to work, we found money in places we never though there could be, knowing that we used it on food or fuel. I have 2 babies in nappies and it honestly looked yesterday as though they have been multiplying, I thought we had less.

What I am trying to say no matter what, God never deserted you! We have no monney and we are happier tha ever, normally my hubby would have beeb moody and very depresed. Learn to place everything in His hands, have true faith and look for the lessons He wants to teach you. Don't look for 'what have I done wrong?' or 'Why am I being punished?' we are sinfull people and life is not always about that, there is greater lessons to be learnt than just to be punished. God loves you and your family and he wants you to be his servant, but for this to happen you need to truly be humbled and realise that you are NO better than the person begging by the robot for tonights dinner. Infact in heaven this person might have a chest full of treasure and you the beggar. Learn to fear only God as many has the power to kill you but God has the power to send you to hell, no one else holds that power. God is also the only creator of life, no one and nothing can create life out of nothing like God can.

Now I know these are harse words and I don't know where you are standing with God at this time of your life. I am going to ask you to read 'He came to set the captives free' by Rebecca Brown. It is very controversial but a real eye opener. Then also to help you on your road with prayer read the Praying books by Stormie Omartian, which ever you feel suits you the best, It has truly help lead me to understand how and for what to pray. I am reading 'The praying Wife/Parent/Women' collection.

You have been laid on my heart since I first read your posting. It is wonderful to know (if I am correct in understanding your letter) that you gave your life to the Lord at the MMC or your existing life in the Lord took on a new depth. Whichever one it is, it is wonderful anyway.

I so want to encourage you today not to give up, to "Fight the Good Fight"

In case no-one has told you before, your life does not belong to you any more - it belongs to God now. This means in reality, that you have given up every right to your life and He now does the 'driving' as such. This is an extremely difficult thing to come to grips with as we are used to having control of everything in our lives for however many years, until God brings us to this very moment of surrender to Him. My dad age 69 has also just come from the MMC, has given his life to the Lord and is also going through this struggle at this time. You need to understand that what you are going through at the moment is completely normal and that GOD LOVES YOU, that GOD IS THERE and HE IS HEARING YOU and that HE REALLY DOES KNOW WHAT HE IS DOING WITH YOU AND YOUR LIFE, no matter what you see in front of your eyes or feel in your heart.

As you asked the Lord into your life or re-committed your life, you made a 'decision'. Make a decision here again now and you can tell the Lord that you want to trust Him but don't know how or that you are afraid to. Don't hide the truth from Him. He already knows anyway and HE knows and understands your confusion, your anger your distress, but He wants you to trust Him. Our relationship with God does not depend in any way on our feelings, or on what we can see - it depends on Him and who He is and His character, which never changes. We are the unstable ones in the relationship, not Him.

Malachai 3:6

For I am the LORD, I do not change.

God Before Time is still the same. HE CANNOT CHANGE

Hebrews 13:8-9

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Do not be carried away with various and strange doctrines. For it is good that the heart be established by grace,

He does not change. Our lives are to be established by His grace. According to the dictionary established means: deep rooted; ingrained; unshakable; secure fixed; stable, settled; set; entrenched. Who does this establishing? God does. We are to 'allow' Him to do this. How does He do this? By taking us through our everyday ordinary life with all the rough and tumble and reallity of whatever that is in it, with Him leading the way from the front and guiding us from behind. We are surrounded by Him on all sides. We are his children and He our Father. Being His child does not depend on whether our 'warm, fuzzy' feelings tell us He is there or whether things are going well in our lives- It depends completely on Him and His Grace towards us and we can by faith know He is there, know He is who He is because He said He is who He is.

And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.”

We need to keep going back to Scripture for everything in our lives. He knows us completely - if you have not ever read Psalm 139, or have not read it for a while, go and read it again it will remind you of how much the Lord knows you and so initimately.

Romans 8:28

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

So, based on Romans 8:28 ALL things work together for good. ALL things... even what you are going through right now. The outcome is what it is about. Whose outcome? The Lord's outcome for your life. As I shared at the beginning, your life belongs to Him now.

I really want to encourage you to "sail on and on and on.." Jesus said to His disciples, just before He went to the garden to pray before the cricifixion that they would have troubles in this life. He told them also of the Holy Spirit who was to come.

John 16: 12 - 15 & 32-33

12 “I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. 13 However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. 14 He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. 15 All things that the Father has are Mine.

32Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you. Indeed the hour is coming, yes, has now come, that you will be scattered, each to his own, and will leave Me alone. And yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me. 33 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

I love what He says here -"Be of good cheer". Take baby steps with Him. It is a journey and each day we are learning more and more about Him and who we are in Him and what it means to be His child. Each day is a new awakening, a joy to see what He is going to do today. It is like a young child who is always so excited to see what the day holds for them. HE loves you so much and you are going to have tough times - some times might be more difficult than others- you won't grow into maturity in Him otherwise, because you will not learn to trust Him if things are always going perfectly. Ask Him to show you how to do it. Learn to stop looking at yourself and your situation and bring your anger and frustration and all the other stuff that you are feeling (which is being directed to your family too - I have lived with my husand like this at times for exactly the same reason you are gving and it is selfish and unacceptable) and lay them at His feet, ask His forgiveness for taking it our on them (also ask their forgiveness too), for not trusting Him with the outcome, for anything HE brings to mind. Keep a clean slate before Him at all times - be quick to repent. Don't hold back with Him. Get into the good habit of turning to Him immediately in all things. Ask Him for ears to hear Him and a heart to be supple before Him. Be patient and wait for Him. There will also be lots and lots of good times. There is such joy in surrendering to Him. Such peace, because He knows what is best for us. Paul says that he has learned to be satisfied in whatever the situation God has put Him in - now that's where we all need to get to.

Look again at Lizz' letter to you. She wrote such a beautiful heart-filled real-life letter to you opening her life-walk in Him for all to read and be encouraged by, but look at how the Lord moved her life around and many times she could not see what was ahead and had to live in faith, knowing that "all things work together for good." ServeTheServants also wrote such a real-life walk response to you too and again reminded you that we are in a war and the Battle is the Lord's we have to just shelter and take refuge and strength in Him (Psalm 91) Being a Christian is not a 'feel good" game. It is a real living relationship with an Almighty, Sovereign God.

Yes, as both Lizz and ServeTheServants shared, God wants you to look to Him not to a man for answers. Angus is just like us - very human and he knows it far more than we do and he also knows that we can all fail - that is why he asked you all to pray for him daily. Even though, if he does not know you personally, he is praying for you and all his 'sons' as are so many brothers who were with you and the sisters who stayed at home. You are not alone and we all go through things and we can share our hearts together here as you have done, and people will respond and pray for you as the Lord leads them.

Again, we can either live our lives with Him and trust Him for the outcome or we can do it in our own strength and live in fear for the outcome. God wants you to do it with Him and not live in fear. So be encouraged today dear brother. Share with us how it goes and join our prayer group if the Lord leads you to. We are a family and each a part of His body and all need each other to function within His body properly.

I want to leave you with the words from an old chorus taken from Joshua (1:9)

"Be strong and courageous, do not tremble or be dismayed,

for the Lord Thy God is with you, wherever you may go".

I happened to be on this site and started reading through the many heart-breaking stories but it was yours that stopped me, touching my heart. It sounds like you are exhausted from all the trials and watching your wife suffering. There is much I could share but, for now, I wish to just share this.....

Over 4 years ago, shortly after I had a real bad bike accident, my husband was diagnosed with cancer in his kidney. The doctors wished to operate immediately and begin treatment but we felt this was not right and asked the specialist to give us three months. He agreed and said that if the growth, which was quite large, had not grown further in 3 months he would then extend for another 3 months and so on....if not, he would insist on the operation. My husband works overs-seas and needs a medical clearance to work so we just knew we needed a miracle.

The first thing we felt was fear, we knew this was not from God and so prayed accordingly. Once that lifted we then sat before the Lord in petition. We both felt God would do the Spiritual but we needed to do the physical, but how.  My husband felt he needed to make life-style changes, the way he ate, his sleeping habits, exercise time., etc, so I started doing research. I read christian and worldly books, trusting God to keep my heart pure and give me wisdom. We searched many sites. In fact I continued to 'study' for 2 years as this matter so interested me.

 We kept our heart open before God in prayer, confession, seeking and studying His word. I believe forgiveness plays a huge part in our health. We also found an excellent book written by a christian writer, a doctor, Don Colbert, and immediately started the detox process. Through studies we felt to add certain natural supplements to our diet and change our diet to natural foods. (can give you more on this if you so wish). Within 3 months of prayer, diet change and general life-style change we had both lost excess weight (we are not large people to start with, but had some extra), and were full of zest for life. Tests showed and continued to show through the next 2 years, that the growth had stopped. 2 years later it started to shrink, the doctors were amazed.

My husband continues to be aware of obedience in life-style and more than four years later enjoys life to the fullest and looks younger than ever. I pray that God will give you insight into your unique situation, as all situations and God's people are unique. I do believe God wants all His children to live life to its fullest in Him. I will keep you in my prayers and trust that you will have a 'miracle' story of you own to touch and change the world with soon.

What a wonderful testimony of the Lord's answer to prayer! I was filled with tears when I read your above posting. I can hear how free you are in Him. What a joy! It is always so exciting to see and hear how the Lord is moving in the lives of His children. God is FAITHFUL and GOOD!. Keep on holding onto Him with both hands and keep on crying at His feet - it keeps you soft and pliable for Him! (Mighty Men of GOD DO CRY and often!!)

I know the Lord will continue to open doors as you move forward in Him, with Him and as you put one foot in front of the other as He makes a way (where there often seems no way forward at all!) He will surely show you how.

I have been very privileged to have become a Diabetes Educator as a result of my husband being diagnosed as a diabetic nerly 4 years ago.  I do believe that it is my Ministry as the Lord has really blessed the work we do.  Although you live in Zambia you obviously have email - please make contact with me as if your mum is living with such high blood glucose levels she could begin to suffer with all the complications and this we cannot let happen.  Until i hear from you you will be in my prayers, but sometimes God appoints His servants to heal - sp please make contact with me.

I also lost, Let me rephrase, We decided to move from PE to PTA due to unforeseen circumstances... And I know exactly what you are going through! I even questioned God and asked why he is doing this with us, we pray every day, we read our Bible, We go to church!

Then God told me that we had to go through this season because we had to get closer to Him. You see, we (My wife and I) were on the wrong path so God sent a Family to us to help us go through our rough times.

What I want to say is, God is there for you like he is for Me and my family. Yes we are still struggling but I can tell you that God is standing next to me and holding my hand every step of the way!

Depression and fear and shame does not come for God, but from satan. Satan is smart and cunning, he has planted bad seeds in you form highschool and nusering these seeds your whole life. So he knows just what buttons the press, no that was the bad news. The Good news is you have God. In luke (do yourself a favor and go read luke, and you will see how Jesus resisted satan) stands if you resist satan, he will run away. Satan does not have authority over us. God gave us or own will. So you can decide if you are going to let satan get you down. My pastor always says attitude determine altitude.

As previous people also said, it is written Faith without actions are dead, So stand up! Proclaim God's love over our live, testify what He has done for you, and you will see and feel the change again. God said to Job I will never give you more then you can handle. So come on, if God belives you can handle, why can't you believe it.

Remember the Holy spirit is given to you to teach and guide you, listen to Its voice and dont supress It. Ask the Holy Spirit to fill you. When you where at the camp, God was busy pulling out all those bad sad that had started to grow, and it left holes in your spirit, you must fill those holes with the Holy Spirit, otherwise satan is just going to water those deep lying rootes and other "bad plant" will Come. The Holy Spirit will fill these holes with impersible seeds( It is written). If you want the precise verse just ask and I will send it to you.

Your war is not physical it is spiritaul, thus your wapons must be spiritual and the places to find your weapons is in the bybel, church, sel groups, praying and the Holy Spirit. Read you bybel is the best guide ever written.

God loves you. Remember if God is with you, who and what can be against you! Being a christain is taking responsibilty first for yourself. You can't rely on others to be a christain for you. Angus can't be a christain for you. God want you to be for him, all of you.
